Bucks Dave I see Brendan has said that the Premier League will be a better place if a Welsh club get there. Perhaps we ought to concede the game to you now out of a wish to improve the Premier League.

He always going to say something along those lines. Think some of his comments are along the lines of what Mourinho says i.e. to get the media to focus on him rather than the team.

&either of us going up will improve the league. Rather have teams that do it within their means than those spending ridiculous amounts. Bit too late for wage capping etc... unfort.

Z175
swansea jack I hope Borini, Dyer and Sinclair run rings around your ageing defence

The Swansea speculation that the incredible Nathan Dyer and co are going to tear Harte and Griffin to pieces is interesting. The Welsh media were full of Cardiff doing this too. In fact wehn we played Everton away BBC Berkshire had this worry. Lets face it a lot of us remember our defence chasing shadows against Swansea already this season.

But if Tevez, Silva, Saha, Arteta, Osman and Bellamy can't do it...

I'm backing experience over pace.

Kind of takes the gloss off it when you have to explain it

SJ - I'm obviously hoping that Reading win (naturally), but if we lose then I for one won't be upset that Swansea have made it to the Prem. I'll be pleased for Brendan, I'd be pleased that the 3rd best team in the Division had made it (call it natural justice if you will), and all the anti-Welsh stuff is, frankly, rubbish.

Either team going up will enhance the Prem, because we would both be a bit different from what is already there; Reading v Swansea is a much more attractive fixture from a footballing perspective than say, Blackburn v Fulham, or Wigan v Stoke.

If you do win, come back so that we can wish you all the best.

Ta. Always look for Urz results - seen 50+ games over the years I was living there inc. some great away fixtures at O*ford, Swindon, Crewe, W Ham and Fulham. Will be gutted if we lose but will be 'following' you in le Prem.

I know thats why the LOL was there rather than the "BUT BRENDAN OUR PITCH IS WIDER" comment widely spread about on this site!

I'd would like to add i would not begrudge Swansea or Brendan their place in the premierleague - I would Cardiff, Billy Davies etc

I don't understand that mindset - I'd begrudge ANYONE a place in the Prem if they beat us. Long term, of course, there could be worse teams promoted, but I'll never wish a team that beat us well.

Well, what a game! Think it had everything.

Huge credit to you for coming back in the second half. Was a touch nervous for 20 odd mins after the break. Took our chances. Harte and Griffin were exposed. Impressed by Kebe and Leigterwood (Sp?). Luckily we shut Long out. Can't believe that this is the same team that just beat Millwall at the Mad Stad in Feb.

&WTF happened with your subs / bench at half time?

p.s. THE JACKS ARE GOING UP

Unhappy for Martinez and Sousa. They do all the work and some big mouthed chancer comes along and takes all the credit.

He added a goalscorer big whoop even 1Berk could work out that the team with the least goals the season before needed one of those.

Well done today. We were delighted to gift wrap four golden chances, which your boys took brilliantly. To be honest I had several chats before and after the game with random 'Jacks' (not including the one sitting next to me in the Royals end, who was a tit!!). I was pleased with their honesty and warmth towards our club. I do hope you do well in the Prem next year. As for us.....we need to start taking the art of defending seriously. We also need to stop trying to get promoted via the Play-offs!! Oh well.............
