Big Foot Absolute LOL at a Stoke fan coming on here saying it's their first visit here considering the amount of times they've played at the Madejski. Guess even Stoke have their plastics who've jumped on the PL bandwagon....

btw chaps - fcuk off newbies

I'm 21, I've been going properly since about 2003 (occasionally before that), when I could afford tickets by delivery papers :) Last time we played there I was 17, living off EMA at college that I spent on fags, booze and match tickets(money well spent). I went to the occasional away game (local like Derby, Coventry and Wolves) but never to Reading. It's only the last couple of years I could afford to go to more away games, especially ones which can be a bitch to get to and cost at least £100 for the day.

But yeah, carry on peddling your shit

Don't know why I even bit

I think all the drugs must have addled my brain.

Just realised, I don't think he was even talking to me.

Back in a bit, just going to put my frock and handbag back in the wardrobe.

I guessing only about 5-10% of our fans have been to Stoke in the last 8 years.

Don't worry about it. We're got the usual bunch of people who think you aren't a real fan if you haven't been to 95% of the games each season and visited every club you've played in the last 10 years at least once.

Which is hilarious given our own average away following is about 800, compared to an average home attendence of 17,000 - 19,000.

The Thames upwards - North.

One of the many reasons I hate Caversham.

The Eastern Pearl, 177 Basingstoke Road, was a pub but has transformed into a Chinese Buffet Restaurant. They still have some beers though …

This was a Mongolian Restaurant which appeared in the Reading Evening Post with the Health Inspector quoted as saying something like "it contained the biggest cockroach infestation I've ever seen".

Not sure if it's run by the same people, but the World Upside Down is a bit closer to the stadium and they do a good carvery roast.

That's a good one, google OneValeFan and link them to it, they'll love it.

Any recommendations for pubs, I know you've given us one next to the train station, but you also said it's watered down and over priced.

Where can one get a smashing shandy?

Obviously Croucher will be the one to watch, particularly If he can pull one out of the bag like he did against Citeh last season. He might be ganglous but he can be a skilful bugger when he wants to be.

Still we'll not concentrate too much on the opposition,eh. I can imagine Uncle Fester's team talk already

No Stokies in the 'Nam, please. They won't understand the yummy mummies, George Michael-loving men, the rugby union shirts on show, or Waitrose. 8)
