Hurlock without a doubt.

Any challenge from on opposition player on any RFC player resulted in the 'Terry's gunna get yer' chant from the Southbank and it was only usually a matter of time before he did.

A good quote below from a player involved in the old firm games whilst Hurlock was at Rangers.


"If Hurlock or Souness did you in a challenge you just had to limp away. You could be in absolute agony with tears welling up in your eyes and blood pouring from wounds but there was no way the trainer could be allowed on to the pitch to treat you.

If you mean in terms of who I think could have it in a bout of fisticuffs then i'd say Andre Bikey without even the merest shadow of a hint of a doubt.

The bloke was a complete unit, had more than one screw loose, and we all know blacks are harder than whites at the end of the day.

I actually had a long chat with Dave Bassett who said Billie Whitehurst was not only hard but had screws loose. Used to fight barefist bouts ...

In my time, Bikey would be high up the don't mess list. Can't really think of many others, thing Long might be a handy fighter but possibly that's the gypsy blood in him?
