Good chance for Adkins to examine his squad. Hope Gorkss plays a blinder, he made our season last year.

super darren caskey Stop the moaning Gorkss was a beast last season in the Championship and he will be doing a job for us again next season too i hope.Maybe hes impressed Adkins in training this week.

You cant go by his spell at Wolves who are a very shit football team.Even f@cking Cristiano Ronaldo couldnt improve them pcunts

Your all be signing his praises at full time you mongs

But he's been shite this season. People have paid £49 to go and see the game today, and Adkins hasn't even bothered putting out his strongest 11. If he's treating it like a friendly shouldn't we be paying friendly prices?

I think Adkins tried to sign Gorkss before he came to us, therefore he must highly rate Gorkss and is perhaps starting him on merit.

windermere_royal its pretty difficult to even imagine a bigger load of whingers then our fans.

The majority think it's either 'meh, pointless game, why not' or 'plenty of reasons for the change'. It's just that blueroyal is banging on about it and assumes that everyone is clamouring to get transferred this summer.

Because Nigel Adkins is in charge of how much it costs to got to West Ham away

He's allowed to do what he wants, we're relegated ffs.

If I had paid £50 to watch Gorkks give away 4 goals I'd be pissed off. Just saying.

He's hardly treating it like a friendly ffs. We have only made 1 change from the last 3 or 4 matches, If the 1 change had been le fondre in for Pogrebnyak would we have still been trating it like a friendly?

We're playing Division 2 football next season

When he's been in decent sides Gorkss has always been a top player at that level so he should get a game in the new look Reading side to see how he fits in. and yes Adkins was after Gorkss last season as well.

If Gorkss is not going to be here next season, what on earth is the point of playing him today.

Either to give him the send off he rightly deserves or give him a last chance to show he deserves a contract next year

As much as I like Gorkss, why not do the same for Pearce instead?

Gorkss will be very useful next season, especially with Pearce offski. All this h8 is pathetic given his efforts last season. F*ck off the lot of you.

He's not going anywhere. We have all pre-season to do that. He hasn't picked his strongest team and that's disrespectful to the fan's that have paid £50+ to go to the game today.

Pearce is demanding too much money...Gorkss hasn't been offered any contract yet

Good grief.

A well-constructed argument. What about my post do you object to? The fact that Alex Pearce has demanded over £35,000 per week - my boss is mates with that Wood-Smith guy on the board and he says Pearce wants to be the second highest earner at the club.
