Far too early to predict, but a guess at the moment:-

1. Reading
2. Bolton
3. Leicester
4. QPR
5. Nottingham Forest
6. Wigan

McDermott masterminds a magnificent campaign for Leeds in which they win their first 20 games and are top at Christmas with Hunt on 25 goals.

Madejski (having won £100m on the Euro millions) buys back the club and sacks Adkins. As a close personal friend, the Queen agrees to include in her Christmas speech a plea for Brian to come back to the club. He agrees and tearfully returns whilst playing 'Knocking on heavens door' on his guitar.

On his first day back in charge Brian buys back Gylfi, changes the home shirts so they have hoops all the way round and redesigns the club website to make it readable again. RFC go on to win all their remaining games 5-0 and are crowded champions with 107 points.

Fail in play offs - Watford, Bolton, Forest

Relegated Yeovil, Huddersfield, Doncaster.

Reading top

Not really bothered about the rest, although I'd LOL if QPR got relegated

windermere_royal Not sure why everyone are tipping Watford now the FL have closed the foreign loan system that got them to the top last year.

They can still have 5?

Plus they are finding other ways around it, e.g. several of them are coming in permanently.

And they seem to be buying players despite their supposed transfer embargo.

They should do well.

Bolton, Ipswich, Leicester, Forest, Wigan, Watford, QPR and us can all expect to be at the top end of the league looks tough - any of those teams could expect to be there or thereabouts.
Blackburn are starting to stop the slide and turn their form around a bit, they'll probably be in the pack behind that lot with Middlesbrough, Derby and Birmingham and Leeds. Leeds are starting to look like they could become an upper mid table side, keeping McCormack, and two good signings in Hunt and Murphy. If they keep Byram they won't be that far behind the crowd and McDermott knows how to win ugly in this league. If he's actually learned from his time last season then I'm starting to come to the realisation that they might do ok.

Huddersfield have got a pretty nice squad starting to shape up, particularly their attack. They should be mid/lower mid table.

I'm not expecting Bournemouth to be top half.

I can't see it being easy........... I'm less confident than I was a fortnight ago, despite Williams, Drenthe and Bridge joining, Pearce staying and it looking increasingly likely that we'll be keeping most of McCarthy/Morro/Mapps/Karacan/Gutrhie/HRK and Le Fondre. Maybe even Pog who could be immense if he's allowed to play his natural game.

We need the Rougeometer.

I fancy Wigan to win the league, someone mediocre to scrape home in 2nd, maybe Leicester. Reading will make the play-offs - natch - and lose to Bolton over 2 legs.

i'd suggest just randomly choosing 3 teams for promotion.

Someone give me three numbers between one and 24

I just hope to see us play some really entertaining football and I will be happy if we are challenging for a play off spot.

Just not in a rush for a season like the last one.

1. QPR
2. Ipswich
3. Forest
4. Bolton
5. Watford
6. Reading - PO winners
