Muskrat
Pepe the Horseman
floyd__streete So I suppose we're all going to have a little collective hissy fit about Hunt not being sent off after we indignantly defended him for the injury he caused to Petr Cech all those years ago.

ROFLeading fans

Fans defending a decision when it happens in favour of them, and complaining when it goes agaist them, is definitely exclusive to ROFLeading fans

Thanks itfc good to know your views. Pens are sometimes given sometes not. Sounds like you guys won fair and square.

Sounded *in the radio* like hunts challenge was quite different to the one against Cech as in play had stopped but he stormed in anyway. Who gives a toss anyway, Alex is fine.

Itfc, early season we were awful, last couple of games it's sounds like we were ok. Do you think Readimg were poor today or did we do ok or weee we a good side who just got beaten by a sharper side on the day (your first sounded more like an error in our passing than anything else but I may be wrong). ?

2 world wars, you looked like a team full of confidence who had just scored seven in their previous game and were trying to nick a foothold in the match. You never really got one, although of the teams I have seen this season, you were up in the top three.

I liked your blonde lad in midfield and Jobi McAnuff is always a threat at this level. Couldn't understand why McLeary was only a sub. He looked good when he finally came on.

Disappointed in Pog and ALF. Pog looked like he was unfit to me. ALF did what someone earlier said Hunty did; ran around like a small yipping dog and put himself about without ever really threatening. I think you'll make the play-off's easily, but you weren't as scintillating as Leicester or QPR and you allowed yourselves to be bullied by our Mick McCarthy-types.

If you fancy having Tabby back, just let us know. We'll have the blonde lad in exchange!!

Good luck in the play-off's. I'll be cheering you on.

McCleary started, Blackman came on.

Interesting that you thought Blackman looked good as the experts on here hate the guy, although that's probably because he's black and Jewish.

Out of curiosity (I'm willing to admit my ignorance), what was the significance of the Robbie Williams concert-style phone lights in the second half (apart from causing the storm)?

The only similarity was that Hunt was involved, two totally different types of challenge.

Yeah, Blackman. He looked alright. Wouldn't mind him in our side.

The significance of the I-phone lights, to answer another poster, was a direct plea to the gods of squally rain and lightning to let them soak the away fans and deny the away team a goal 'which, in the darkest hour, mayeth contribute to thy failure to make the play-off's with thine parachute payments and players on £20k a week' (Leviticus Chapter 6 Verse 8). The Bible tells us of Job's battle with the vacillating twin-headed Hydra Wate-Rose, and its free-scoring munchkin LeFond. "And lo, did Job look to the skies, for God sayeth unto him 'Be not afraid of conceding one-and-six, for the Hydra is weak on the flanks at the back. Justly shall I show this weakness through 'Torch' on mine eyefone, to raise a dreadful wind and downpour to flush away the Hydra from thine eyes' (Genesis)

ITFC_Keane Disappointing to see so few Reading fans at Portman Road. I know we kick you in the knackers with the price of an away ticket (£32.50?) but there barely looked a corner full today, and the few Royals I spoke to on the way back to the station seemed indifferent to their team's fate this season.

£32.50 is an absolute disgrace for second rate football, I am not going anywhere near your ground while you charge such ludicrous admission prices. Especially as you have the worst stewards in the division, save possibly Forest.

And £35 on the day
Won't be going again

Think there's a little bit of difference between chasing a ball and having a keeper slide out in front of you, and going in knees first at a keeper who's dived on the ball. From the descriptions and photos I've seen of this latest incident.

Exactly

Plus we support Hunt when he plays for us and not when he plays against - not really surprising is it?

I suspect it's the other way round for Floyd given his hatred for Reading's manager, fans, players and chairman.

ITFC_Keane First up, your MOTM was the dyed-blonde bloke in midfield.

Disappointing to see so few Reading fans at Portman Road. I know we kick you in the knackers with the price of an away ticket (£32.50?) but there barely looked a corner full today, and the few Royals I spoke to on the way back to the station seemed indifferent to their team's fate this season.

My take was: never a penalty first half (good challenge - was right behind it and we got the ball), Pogrebniak looked unfit, McCarthy was given the bum's rush second half and gave us a brief 'w*nker' sign after we jeered him when he went down after a nothing challenge with Murphy. But your left back was amiss for both goals and looked well off the pace.

Hunty and Tabb both gave interviews to the local rag stating how 'up for it' they were and I guess that passion provided the difference in the end. I love Hunty; always gives his all and we underuse him criminally. Tabb is not a favourite of the ITFC faithful; he appears to only put a shift in when he feels like it, and several groaned when we brought him on today.

Otherwise, I thought it was a poorish game in front of a measly crowd and in conditions which, second half, would've flooded Oxf*rd. You'll be back. I expect you to get promoted this season. We're a work in progress.

Good luck for the rest of the season

u dont deserve a player like tabb you ingrates
you deserve a player like hunt and are welcome to him
