Much more managerial experience than Jaap Stam, who took us to two scored penalties away from the PL. I look forward to next season's promotion party.

Fun facts:

Even though his nickname at school was Incey Wincey, Paul is actually terrified of spiders

Unlike Pauno, Paul does not live in Kettering

Paul is aware that Peterborough went down to 10 men on Saturday

I can see his character and personality giving the team a much needed lift behind the scenes. It sounds as though Pauno may have been struggling to do this over the last couple of months from the mole’s comments.

I think it was just a case where the players had lost faith in Pauno, knowing that his ideas just weren't working for the team and we didn't have the belief that it was going to translate to results either and that was apparent with the fans as well. I think it was pretty much as simple as that, he's not a bad man, he's not a bad manager, he just didn't work with us eventually for whatever factors.

Agree totally, his number was just up, and best for all parties to move on. No reflection on Pauno as a person.

Bit too much serious discussion in here for my liking. This thread is about bowing down to our glorious leader.

tidus_mi2 At least with his reputation as a midfielder maybe he won't stand for our midfield going missing and letting players just glide through unopposed.

Jaap Stam signed Tiago Ilori.

I wish good luck to every RFC manager . Hope to see a different attitude and commitment from the players, and get away from the concept that you are not allowed to pass the ball forward until all the defenders , midfield , and GK have touched it .

To be fair he was actually quite a good defender for ourselves. Rightfully got his move onto a higher level.

Having met Paul on Celebrity Play Your Cards Right, Legendary light entertainer Bruce Forsyth changed his "Nice to see you to see you nice" catchphrase to "Ince to see you to see you Ince".

This is the only such occasion in a career that lasted over 70 years that "Brucey", as he was known to his friends, changed the words of his catchphrase.

Agree apart from him not being a bad manager.

That's fair enough - I just genuinely don't think he is a bad manager, he just wasn't right in our situation no more, partly down to him, partly not down to him. His record overall was decent across all fronts really, I certainly wouldn't say he is a bad manager and I'm sure his next job will be at someone with a relatively similar reputation to a club like ourselves.
