Seriously though, someone with Championship knowhow…Wilder would be a great appointment!

(But this bloody club will probably appoint Steve Kean!!)

This is my big problem too. Even if we get a new manager for next season I don't trust the club bringing in someone who can be with us long term and eventually get us competing at the top of the league again. Does Bowen have a say on who's appointed?.or is it the Dai and Dayong Pang who decide?

We know Karbota will mention Parky has Wrexham back top of the national league after drawing away to Maidenhead.

You'd hope Bowen. Bowen is yet to appoint anyone having come in when Gomes was here, been asked to do the job himself, dumped for Clowno and then back in when Ince was already here. So nothing to go on for whether he's got any better judgement than the morons at the top. Though it couldn't get much worse.

Well I guess for the first time in a few years we can at least pay compensation for a manager which will widen the pool of managers. Rather than having to choose from the unemployed

Quite happy to keep him (& son) for a bit tbf…he’ll probably jack anyway.

People need to remember their expectations back in early August.

Yes - people also need to remember we have a number of players on L2 wages, Wrexham in the national league have a number of players on more money

Assuming the transfer embargo will be extended we're back here next season and who exactly is going to come here that's any better?

I say we stick for a bit

That's an exaggeration. League 2 players earn about £1-1.5k a week at best.

Who seriously thinks Ince is the man to get us finishing higher in the league in a year or 2?

There is a difference between where we expected to finish and whether we want to keep the manager.

Yes I think he has done a pretty good job overall with what’s been at his disposable and only the deluded would have expected anything other than staying up as being the aim this season so in that sense job done (hopefully)

But whether we have seen enough from him for us to want to keep him and build with him is a different matter.

You don't keep a manager for stability if they're not up to the job though for the long term. Which tactically Ince has showed that he isn't.

Only pratt thing is keeping someone who may see us relegated in 2023/24.

Yes Jimmy, the bastion of ‘changing faces’ dependant on the days result.

Lose Ince and you will lose Ince jnr.
Ince snr. has more to prove, get rid and employ another unknown quantity?

Think I’ll stick for a bit longer, thank you

Tom Ince is a good player but he's not irreplaceable and is coming nearer the end of his career. Can't rely on him forever

Well, that's what Ince said after one game
