Well it certainly hit his hand, but he's flat on the pitch and the player has kicked it into his hand, Pereira has his back to it. I think that's a good call from the officials.

I think you’re right on replay but live I thought that was a red card.

Pereira's spent the season watching strikers go 1v1 with him because our defenders are so slow or unaware.

Nailed on handball, I would be fuming if the other way around
that's not given

leon What has happened to him?

I was in the Dolan on Saturday and noticed the back line (particularly O’Connor) giving him the beans throughout the first half. Something doesn’t seem happy.

Which of these do you think it qualifies under?

IFAB A handball offence is committed when a player (except the goalkeeper in their own penalty area):

deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm
touches the ball with their hand/arm when it is in a position that makes their body unnaturally bigger and that position is not the result of their body moving fairly as part of play
scores a goal against the other team with their hand/arm or scores immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm (even if the touch was accidental)

There were covering defenders, so yellow only anyway?

Probably, it's simply not an offence. Two officials with a view clear as day. It's not like they've missed anything.

It's all long ball. All those nice passes slid into the centre to Doyle in space are gone.

Screamer. From us failing to take control of the ball.

Can someone please explain to me why keepers nowadays go with what I perceive to be the wrong hand. Sure JP saves that if he goes with his left arm.
