The Silk Since the start of the Prem only four teams have been relegated in their second season. Not that much of a syndrome really just highlighted by wigans plight last season.
Its something like 12 or 13 by their second, third or fourth - compacency
does strike. Let's not forget that. Most teams do worse in their second season by about 5 points. Only a handful have improved in their second season.
My opinion - we'll do worse in terms of points. A few, a handful. Games that we should do better in. So we'll probably do worse in terms of position.
Loads of factors - better knowledge of what we do, what we're about, some players less motivated having 'made it', replacements not quite as good as those players who have left, players a year older and the wrong side of the peak.
But its not like we'll do tremendously badly.
And some players, Lita especially, will improve again.
