Streets
Madejski - tight fisted, milked his applause, ego restored

Streets And, take a seat... we used 3 subs!!
Yes, I thought bringing Noel Hunt on with about 2 minutes to go was a great move as you don't want to knacker out Kevin Doyle by playing him for more than 88 minutes. Good use of a sub to keep Doyle fresh. But disapointed Hunt didn't make use of all that time on the pitch to score a hat trick.

Also, I noticed over half of our team were black.... I don't recall that ever being the case before, It's not something that concerns me in the slightest, but it could be a first.

Rosenier isn't black, either is Kebe.

Marcus and Convey are though, they just have the same skin disorder as Michael Jackson.

Didn't notice any and he was good for them. He along with Puncheon were their only decent players.

I thought Harps was pretty anonymous actually - but maybe that's a good thing - in that I didn't notice him making countless errors/wayward passes.

I'm still not convinced that this team could take us into the top 6 though. We didn't create that many chances and Plymouth didn't really appear to have turned up. The jury's out for me I'm afraid.

Agreed. Happy with the win, can't complain. But, we were playing against an absolutely woeful excuse for opposition with absolutely NO pace. I thought doyle was terrible up front, should of had long on far earlier, looked bright when he came up. Couple of good performances. Cisse, kebe, sonko, convey and ivar played well and impressed me. Can't see us being anything more than a mid table side this season though, no chance of automatic promotion, nowhere near enough class on the pitch.

Agreed, can't make any real judgement against a truly dreadful Plymouth. Doubt any other side this season will apply so little pressure to our midfield which is probably why they all seemed to have good games. Given time and space, any team can do neat one touch passing triangles and, set pieces aside, we still need to do a lot of work on the final ball into the box because I don't remember either of our strikers having a clear cut chance all game.

MOM Sonko - excellent defensively and did well for his goals.

Dont agree. Provided we lose no more players this squad is as good as any other in this division. Take a look at the players making up the numbers in all the other sides in this division...they are far from awesome. I dont see any reason why our squad cannot compete. We also have Bikey and Matejovsky to come back in and Noel Hunt will get a run at some stage and could be very useful...but as I say lets see no more transfers out of the club and I think we will be fine.
