Whenever Long steps up I always have a feeling he will miss it. But when Harte steps up I always think he will score.

As long as they hit the back of the net, I don't care who takes them tbf.

From the quotes on the website I think that Harte will be taking them till the end of the season.

Can't believe he missed a penalty. Well I guess he sort of him the target too well but still.

I remember years ago, Billy Bremner hitting the post
and Kenneth Woolstenhome saying the penalty was
"too perfect."

That was my thought too - he has such a fine margin of error as his penalties are hit right into the corner.

Should have gone more for power and less for placement, trying to get it into that corner... I thought.

Hoping a couple of our players are a little light on their feet around the box on Friday and Tuesday.Give Harte a few free-kicks and he's bound to get one in. Long for a penalty too please.

So you've included two goals he scored in a completely different division?

Can somebody produce statistics of the amount of penalties he has missed in his career?

I remember one against Man Utd (Bartez saved), one against Arsenal (same end of the pitch, hit the bar), and the infamous World Cup miss against Spain. And now Derby.

So, at least 4.

Harte always seems to hit the ball to his right. The keepers always go that way.
Why not a dink to the left if he gets a chance in the play-offs? He surely will

Check out the official rules. Go read the BBC site, for example. Games in other divisions DO count

Just noticed that the BBC site no longer says "goals for other clubs"

instead it says, "goals for other clubs in the same division"

That is a definite change

It has always been the case that ALL a player's goals that season counted.

Earlier in the season I cut and pasted from the BBC site to show that goals
for other clubs IN ANY DIVISION counted.
