Enjoyed the Northern commentary today if not the game.
Plenty of football jargon including left peg, back stick etc but more importantly they knew our players, maybe due to us playing Preston last week.

The game?
We are just so soft and their last goal where Rino and Tommy Mac were in a 2 v 1 but neither assumed responsibility sums us up at the moment.

Swift was everywhere but Ince and Hoilett (who I like) were ineffective and at least one of them should have been replaced by Meite much earlier.
As for Morro , I thought it had to be a foul on him but, seeing the replay, he didn't jump and made no protest afterwards about being fouled.

So, onto a potential nightmare of March fixtures but thank goodness Derby and Peterborough lost otherwise I would be really worried rather than just worried.

Flipping hell. Wish I hadn't mentioned Southwood. So many more important points but we're still talking about Southwood v Hein (who's now injured) and now we're bringing an EX keeper into the useless debate.

Southwoood will be number one whether we like it or not. Let's hope we get someone new.

Just back....live in Midlands. Was never a 4-1. level game until they scored the third.

Why was Mcintyre marking Madine?

Morro is sadly now like McShane's last season.....really hope Dann is back next week, defence was largely ok when he was around

Meite needs to start next week ahead of ince

Can't understand why Hoilett was subbed, was most effective player

Baffling thing to say. They’ve should have scored 3 by half time.

The header, tame shot straight at Southwood in the box and the lad unmarked at the edge of the box who skied it.

Hound
Zip Gutless pcunts.
Four really hard games coming up.

Millwall
Forest
Blackburn
Bournemouth

We are very likely to go into the huge game v Barnsley in a right mess.

Not sure any of those teams are that good tbh. Blackburn have scored 1 goal in 7 games I think

But we clearly have to do far better

Yeah, I’m not on board with this panic about March.

It’s the business end of the season and it means teams are all under some sort of pressure and the usual form book is often thrown out.

Don’t panic folks

windermereROYAL Huge game next week now.

Millwall four wins on the bounce.

It’s a great time to play them then. Much prefer that than if they had lost 4 on the bounce.

They also have a massive injury list. Fair play to then churning out results but they are missing a number of players

You say that, but Barnsley have picked up form, with 3 wins in 5. 2 games ago no one predicted that.

Luckily Cardiff lost too, and Birmingham. Annoyingly Hull won.

The trouble is we have to score two or three to have any chance of winning. This squad is not going to win ugly 1-0.
I hope when Dann gets back there will be a bit more organisation at the back
He has to come in for Morrison.

Are we getting in another keeper? Or are we a Southwood injury from Boyce-Clarke having a baptism of fire.

Infogol’s xG model has it at 1.29-1.23 at full time. Suggests the quality of the chances was very even.

Bit of pace at the back would be welcome.

Other than that. A decent screen, and some proper time spent on defending, especially set pieces, and we can reduce the goals against.

Whether Ince can achieve that in training we'll see. But I think there's a decent chance.

Southwood has had more good games than bad. Our defenders have done the job well in the past.

We've got a cushion, and We've been picking up points.

4-1, 2-1 or 9-1 doesn’t make much difference to us at this point. We got picked off trying to get an equaliser. It happens.

In fairness it’s really difficult to determine the quality of our chances in the first half from the away end.

Let’s face it if ince was any good then Stoke would not have let him go.

T. Ince was trying way too hard to have an amazing game! The Blackpool fans were on him from the first minute, which seemed to fire him up…but in the wrong way. More than once he tried to run through 2/3 of their defenders, rather than play the simple ball. He also tried several shots that were blocked easily because of how close the Blackpool players were to him. Their fans really got to him…agree he needed to be taken off.

I think, like quite a few on here, you are underestimating Millwall.
If we get anything above 4 points in March I will be pleased.

Ince was a decent defensive player so he should in theory
