What? The guy who’s led Gillingham to the top of League 2 and still hasn’t lost a game there (p17, w8, d9, l0) since he took over the reins on 25 March? Yeah who’d want a manager that could do that with a team?
That's him. The guy who lost 31 out of 50 league games at QPR and Shrewsbury, after leaving Wycombe.
And led Wycombe to promotion to the Championship. Just saying that he’s not someone that should just be overlooked when the Reading manager position becomes available again. He has a better record, and runs at success, at clubs than any of the managers employed by Reading since Coppell.
Not saying that it should have to be him just that he is worth considering and certainly I would rather have someone who has a bit of a proven record in the English game than yet “unknown” from wherever just because they are a nice guy and into whatever the latest coaching/tactical trend is
