I'm assuming jimmy expects Hunt to use a time machine.so he can replay the early games, and go forward and play the next 4, recording 10 wins all victories by at least 3 goals, to restore our rightful place pissing the league. And led Wycombe to promotion to the Championship. Just saying that he’s not someone that should just be overlooked when the Reading manager position becomes available again. He has a better record, and runs at success, at clubs than any of the managers employed by Reading since Coppell.

Not saying that it should have to be him just that he is worth considering and certainly I would rather have someone who has a bit of a proven record in the English game than yet “unknown” from wherever just because they are a nice guy and into whatever the latest coaching/tactical trend is

I think any goodwill Hunt had from last season is ebbing away rapidly this, which is a shame

As we've lot of new players who "need to gel" why weren't more played this evening as we have no game at the weekend? Guess injuries could be a factor but these tend to happen more in training

Given the pointlessness of the competition (it’s just extra clog we can all do without) I’m not fussed over losing, it’s much more important that players who will be playing the league games don’t get crocked so was more than happy with the side put out. Don’t care whether it was Swindon or not as the irrelevancy of the competition pretty much makes any subsequent trolling going on about the result laughable.

I couldn't give a flying toss about this game. Good to give our youngsters a go and that's about it. Doesn't reflect badly on Hunt at all.

Maybe not an important game in terms of defining our season but losing to a local rival regardless of the competition isn't good.

Good for the odd "so we stab 'em" chant now and then but that's about it.
