Now I regret switching off and missing the absolute liability getting sent off. oxf*rd Oxford top with a game in hand to compound absolutely oxf*rd everything.

This might be the darkest night in Reading's recent history. We are well and truly done.

Brogue Mola sent off

Edit; he was shown a second yellow and a red. Red realised he made a mistake and changed it back to a yellow

Whoscored has Mola on a yellow at 78 minutes as well.

Inexperienced manager, inexperienced team. Bad points, Binden not a RB, Azeez/Mola need dropping for ever, Dean should be under strict orders not to attempt a pass of more than 5 ft, Button 2 absolute clangers, formation horrible, full backs terrible. Only positive, Wing is good.

Best £90 I’ve ever “wasted”.

Can we even sack Selles??? Just let them play themselves.

Ref's first game of the season apparently, allegedly he models himself on Graham Poll.

Think that referee will have some explaining to do, he booked Mola in the 78th minute and then again in the 98th then, for some unknown reason, called him back onto the pitch. Therefore I expect the ref will be moved to manning VAR in the Premier League at the weekend.

Takeaways.

We have to get an early goal or we're oxf*rd.
Carson is weak and terrified away from home, needs instruction in the cynical foul from Hutch
Bindon is not a right back and needs some instruction in the art of the cynical foul from Hutch
Mola is not a footballer
Azeez will make the wrong decision every time
Selles is an incompetent manager
4-2-2-2 should burn in hell for all eternity
Yiadom is an absokute moron.
Button won't play that badly again this season.

Abbey is pretty good.
Wing is good.
Vickers is great.
Savage really cares.
Ehibhatiomhan is pretty decent.
Ballard scored.

Immediate thoughts:
Azeez just seems to get worse.
Mola was an England u21 three years ago. What on earth happened to him?
Button with what must be the worst goalkeeping performance for the club this century?
As others have said, Bindon isn't a RB, and if he's only there so Dean can play then don't play Dean.
Is Savage's head dropping, or is he just not very good?
Knibbs is (still) absolute pony.

Er... what about Rotherham last season from our friend Lumley.

Selles out ! Totally clueless.
You can’t just keep playing the same shit formation and tactics.
We’ve been rubbish away so why not change it set up defensively and solid in the middle ?

I said I’d give Selles 10+ games, but seriously this is the lowest I have felt in a long oxf*rd time. I am right behind our young squad, but they look clueless right now. Selles needs to forget his footballing principles and go back to basics.

Spoiler alert, he won't.
