Yeah but the experts on here sneered at him?!

Same experts who said League 1 was the reset the club needed and that we'd win more games.

You're on your own. I'm certainly not enjoying losing to nothing clubs every week. Rather be getting beat by teams like Blackburn and Norwich over Leyton bloody Orient.

Tbh I've just become numb to it at whatever level. The end of Pauno's reign, Ince last season, this...it's all more dire than anything I ever imagined we would have to put up with. It was shit in the Championship and shit in L1 - I can't really differentiate or have a preference.

All I know right now is I'd rather be in L2 or the Conference with a good owner and good times to look forward to than be at any level with this absolute cnut of an owner. Southend had their takeover and then got an away win today. Can you imagine? Right now I'd swap places in a heartbeat.

The good news is, we either have a new owner within the next two years, or we get put out of our misery permanently.

It's only 11 games in. We've got talent. If we can just find someone with a clue and some form we really shouldn't be relegated, bar more points deductions, of course. Everything's just toxic at the moment. But sooner or later we hit rock bottom and start improving. Or the problem just goes away and we sadly move on with our lives.

If that owner arrives, and isn't another total clown we start the climb back and a lot is in our favour. Heck, even if he is awful chances are it doesn't start showing for a couple of years

Yeah... and? That's what happens to a lot of teams. Not really the "gotcha" you think it is leon

Sorry, can you run me past your argument. I think it is this…

People - this is going to not be good.

Other people - no it’s going to be brilliant.

People- there’s a high likelihood of it being really not good.

THEN IT HAPPENS

Other People - yeah like duh of course it’s going to be shit. We’re totally fcuked.

People were basing this on having a club that could start buying players for fees again, had enough money to pay the wages and bought in a manager who actually has experience of the league and a record of success.

Yeah, but it's much better to bitterly snipe at other people because things aren't going well.

I think up until yesterday this season has certainly been more fun than going to games for the last few seasons. It’s mainly because the youngsters have given me fresh hope and I have been willing Selles to do well. Also, visiting all of the old grounds again has been great.

However, yesterday finished the fun off for me as Selles isn’t learning. A team that should be full of energy is being overrun and too easy to play against. I am sick to death of hearing the same bollox shortly after and before every game only for the same old shite to be served up. I now realise that we haven’t even hit rock bottom yet.

Sadly, if we still have a football club next season I think it’ll be in League Two and playing my adopted team who currently sit top of the National League.

I know it feels hopeless now, but things can change quickly. There could be a new owner announced before our next league game, which would give everyone a shot in the arm and could well translate to better performances on the pitch.

Right now L2 looks likely, but a lot can change.
