Binfield Royal does this suggest Roberts injury is worse than they are telling us?

Probably not, I would imagine this deal has been in the works since at least the weekend. If anything, I think it more suggests the McDermott has decided that at least one of our strikers isn't up to it...or we are worried about Kebe's injuries recently

And he would have have omitted those games that he didn't get a goal or assist in...

Big risk IMO he's very inexperienced and might not know all the rules yet or what he's supposed to do in front of goal.
Could cause a lot of unrest in the squad as well if he starts getting picked ahead of our top scorer Church. Think this is the end of our automatic hopes.

Well those games are clearly outliers so he'd be right to do so.

It shows how seriously the club are taking Simon Church.

Another forward? Roberts, Hunt, Church, ALF, as well as Cykwa, HRK, Sheppard who can all play there. Do we need another?

I think I agree with you actually. Hope I'm wrong, don't know why we need him. Big snub to the other players in the squad.

Thing is he might not even play, so why bring him in?

1871 Royal
Big Foot
London-born Benik has come through the Arsenal Academy, and importantly gained Football League experience last season during two spells out on loan with Huddersfield. He scored eight times and created a further ten goals in 21(+14) games, averaging a goal or assist every 114 minutes on the pitch.

Nah if it was, it would have included half assists ...

And the number of different seats he's sat on in the team bus... :D

He played 28 games on loan at Huddersfield last season and so is well versed in the pressures of a team going for promotion and also the play-offs if needed.

Apparently he is a player we have been watching for some time and Heston was looking to move for him earlier this season before Benik got injured.

He is described as a younger, faster Jason Roberts.

I am presuming he will be on the bench on Saturday whether Roberts plays or not.

I swear to god if this guy is on the bench in place of ALF rather than Church...

Well clearly the management think so.

HRK and Cywka aren't strikers anyway. Sheppard is injured IIRC. Roberts too.

I wonder how much of this is for this season, and how much next?

Maybe we are hoping for season-long loan next year?

As he can play wide, maybe he's double-cover, Roberts and Kebe?

Pleased with this, Arsenal supporting m8 thinks the world of him. Will do a decent job filling in for Roberts, and will bring a bit more pace up top which we lack.

Can't see the negatives tbh, if he turns out to be shit then he just won't play.

If he's good enough for Arsenal and RVP he's good enough for me!

I know youtube can make an awful player look like Messi but from the video's i've seen he looks the REAL DEAL!!

Still no getting away from the fact that its a massive de-motivator for Alf and Church.
