Elmer Park I understand the logic behind people's suggestion that we loan out Antonio again next season but as things stand if we do that he will be able to walk away on a free transfer at the end of next season.
Therefore we need to make a decision on the player and, if we believe he is likely to be good enough, offer him a new contract. Then Antonio himself would need to decide whether he believes his future is with Reading or whether he wants to move to Sheffield Wednesday.

Wouldn't take a genius to work out an arrangement which gave Antonio a season
in the Championship AND protected the club's investment
eg a guaranteed option for us to take up adding 1-2-3 more years
Meanwhile he gets loads of games, does well at Wednesday or Charlton for a season

So what exactly would we be offering Antonio this summer?

Explaining would obviously be too taxing for you.

Snowball
Michail, we see you as a future PREMIERSHIP player, but we know you want to play.
Here are your choices for the next year.
Be on the bench in the Prem - (unless Jobi or Jimmy) are injured or sign this contract
and you can get a season of Championship football. If you have improved, you could be playing
in the Prem in January 2013.

Ian Royal Why would he be on the bench ahead of HRK next year, when he hasn't been this year?
