I'm up for flying out for this one, anyone know if Faro is the closest airport and will we be able to buy at the gate?

Saaaaaaaammmmmm THE SQUAD

Goalkeepers: Adam Federici, Alex McCarthy, Mikkel Andersen, Jonathan Henly.
Defenders: Shaun Cummings, Chris Gunter, Ian Harte, Nicky Shorey, Kaspars Gorkss, Alex Pearce, Adrian Mariappa, Sean Morrison.
Midfielders: Jem Karacan, Mikele Leigertwood, Brynjar Gunnarsson, Danny Guthrie, Jay Tabb, Jobi McAnuff, Jimmy Kebe, Garath McCleary, Hal Robson-Kanu, Michail Antonio, Jordan Obita.
Forwards: Noel Hunt, Jason Roberts, Adam Le Fondre, Simon Church, Pavel Pogrebnyak.

Notable inclusions I guess are Pog who'll be in a Reading shirt for the first time. Henly and Obita as the youngsters. Antonio given a chance. And Bryn.
Notable omissions are only really the likes of Taylor, D'Ath along with Sheppard and Williams and Hector who could have made it. They'll be playing the likes of Basingstoke, Salisbury and Hendon back home
Well seems like we have 24 of our 25 man squad, with the squad above minus the under 21s (Henly, Obita, Morrison) and Bryn, with either one more to come in or a suprise inclusion in the squad for Bryn!

Can anyone find where the first game is being played? Thinking of flying out there but typing the details from the OS nothing comes up?

Quarteira is about halfway along coast from faro airport to albufeira, estadio municipal is in the west of the town, if you look on google satellite its the only stadium... Well football pitch!

Yep, sports from 2-10 today so would assume it'll be full commentary (of the Reading players anyway  )

Teams for tonight on the OS...

First half: Andersen; Cummings, Shorey, Mariappa, Pearce; Guthrie, Leigertwood (c), Kebe, Robson-Kanu; Antonio, Roberts

Second half: Andersen; Gunnarsson, Harte, Gorkss, Morrison; McAnuff (c), Tabb; McCleary, Obita; Hunt, Le Fondre

Sub: Henly
