BMc was saying in the post-match interview that they're a quality side, yes their first team might be but their reserves and kids just put 7 on us, that wasn't a high quality side at all that just destroyed us, that's the sad thing

and by god, his sumemr signings are looking worse and worse with each passing week, we signed championship quality players unfortunately as BMc maybe is unable or unwilling to attract the quality required

The most disappointing thing for me is the lost opportunity. That freaky run of 15 wins from 17 took us up and we all hoped with the rumoured investment we might have a chance of staying up and becoming a midtable Premier League side for years to come. Then we signed a load of average Championship players, a misfit from Newcastle and a Russian here for the wage and the wheels come off almost straight away and all that hard work will be put to waste with our inevitable relegation.

This in buckets. Absolutely.

You either take your opportunities or you suffer the consequences. Fcuk knows why we chose the latter.

Didn't go, shouldn't be posting on this really. But I am absolutely livid. What kind of oxf*rd uselesss bunch of fukwits blow a FOUR goal lead and conceed SEVEN. Half of them in the dying minutes of halves.

I'm glad I didn't go, because I think I'd probably have gone off with a megaton yield if I seen what must have been an absolute fuking shambles.

That's THIRTY goals conceeded in 11 games for oxf*rd SAKE. How many leads squandered? It is simply not acceptable, it's not oxf*rd good enough. I don't care whether we looked ok or not for most of normal time.

pea At least this will put to bed the ludicrous suggestion that Gunter should be starting

Very much so, and you could have said the same even before those last 5 mins.

Is it bad that I said we'd lose at 4-0 up?

I have no faith in this side holding onto a lead. I also think if ALF had come on instead of Church we'd have won in extra time.

Karacan is hugely important to the team, a lot of our hammerings seem to come when he is not around but we need more that to save us, a quality centre-back and a midfielder who can keep possession would be nice for a start, we also have four average full backs and no good ones, same with our strikers really

Get a grip.

We lost by a 2 goal margin, to one of the top 4-5 teams in the UK, in a competition which is NOT our priority.

Sunday is FAR more important. Unfortunately, most of you 'johnny come lately' don't realise that.

Capitalone cup - SO WHAT. Staying up - that's the deal.

The only problem with that is he's very important to us playing well, but also not Premier League quality.

I suppose it's a positive that we have scored 8 goals in 2 games.

Let's gloss over that we've let in 10

Thought Morro was loads better than Gorkks, the latter should be benched for the chin on Sunday. Too many poor performances so far this season.
Morrison looked good from set pieces, and can replace Antonio as our Rory Delap, something we've been crying out for.

Lolled when church came on, did he even touch the ball?

Tabb looked excellent without the ball, and then hoofed it whenever it was passed to him. shame.

Feds wasn't terrible, but wasn't great, Maccers should be back between the stick for QPR hopefully.

Gunter was poor defensively, adds more going forward than Cummings IMHO.

Legs was ok. Hunt and Roberts were very good. Shorey good.

HRK was reasonable on occasion, Jobi was alright when he came on.

I find Pav a little disappointing. Scored so can't complain too much.

Ahh wells, on the COC. Hopefully BMac can get them rallied for the weekend. Hopefully he won't get fired. Maybe just moved back to head scout or something...

In 75 mins we lost 7-1 ! That isn't a two goal margin that's embarrassing.

Jason Roberts - Brilliant, 90 minutes more fitness and scoring.
Leigertwood looking decent getting forwards and scoring again.
Robson-Kanu showed he has the ability to tear (usually) tough opposition apart.
Hunt lively and scoring again.
Shorey back to his best with set-piece deliveries.

Walcott - England's preferred right winger was on song.
Arsenal are still the best coached, passing side in the Premier League from youth squads to first team.
The 17 year old centre-mid kid who came on was brilliant - Arsenal fans excited about him.
Giroud was a sensation in Ligue 1 last few seasons.

All in all, enough to feel pretty up beat about for me!

It was 2 set peices and HRK and Ledge both giving the ball away that did us, then Gorkss heading the ball straight to them for their first goal.

Shocking defensive performance - I'm worried. Pearce needs to come back

Right lets have a go at that one:

The Ref- shouldn't have played the additional minute at the end of normal time, but ultimately that shouldn't have mattered

McD- I don't blame him at all. The players need to take responsibility for that farce. Can't blame the manager for the substitutions, he had ever right to feel that we should have held out

Turning Points- Their first goal unquestionably. I went ape shit watching it on the TV when that goal went in, and my parents who I was watching the game with couldn't understand why. Clearly they haven't been watching us for long enough. Utterly woeful header by Gorkks to gift the ball to Arsenal. McD concurred with this in his post match interview

Then their second and third goals. Nothing to do with the manager. Leg lost Giroud, who finished well. Then far worse was the Koscielny goal. Gorkks just seemed to watch the ball drift over his head. Then came the inevitable madness of the equaliser. Conceeding 2 goals to Arsenal from corners is criminal.

Then to get back to 5 all, and the sudden realisation again that we might just nick this on penalties. Then another attrocious pass from Leg to gift the ball away, and then it was curtains.

McD looked like he was on the verge of tears at the press conference, and I found myself nearly joining him. He looked totally defeated. I have criticised him in the past, but today was all down to the players. Legs and Gorkks in particular made consistently poor decisions. It would have been left deflating if we'd been beaten 5-0 today. Unfortunately for McD QPR is now a 'most not lose' or a P45 will be coming his way. If Pearce doesn't play again against QPR then he will probably deserve it.

Seriously just WTF. Who the oxf*rd thinks we played well and look good coming out of this? We're a laughing stock, a oxf*rd embarrassment. QPR fans should be rubbing their hands together after tonight..

Get a grip.

7 goals conceded by a near first choice defence to a second choice Arsenal outfit at home.

Conceding 7 goals will obviously breed new confidence to our already awful side.

From now on, no matter how many goals we lead by I will never be confident on us seeing out a game.

E. Andrew

I've never even remotely thought it for even a second until now, but if we don't win at the weekend, fukking sack, McD! If he didn't want to win this one then why start with Morrison or Gunter. Both are pcunts, his tactics were pcunt! Everyone's a pcunt. Including me! Pcuntsss!
