Tab takes all Ipswich's corners and free kicks. Last time I looked he didn't hurry and scurry much while he was doing that.

SCIAG Agreed.

Both the "never expected him to play in the Championship" and "one of our best players in the Premier League" views are ridiculous.

Much better than Akpan, not quite as good as Karacan.

It's not exactly lavishing him with praise, there was hardly much genuine competition of quality. Particularly in midfield where the candidates you'd normally peg as better than him - Karacan & Guthrie for example - didn't exactly excel and make themselves own the shirt.

Norfolk Royal It's funny to hear an Ipswich fan describing Norwich fans as Scum. They usually call Norwich fans 'budgies' and Norwich fans reciprocate with 'binners' for their Ipswich opponents. He's ramped it up a bit there.

As for the various merits of the two places I'll let anyone who has been to the two and made an assessment to make their own conclusions.

Let's just say it's not looking good for Ipswich on that one.

Norwich fans were by far the scruffiest set of supporters that i have ever set my eyes on, and both Ipswich and Norwich fans have that East Anglian 'head tilted back a little with glazed stare and mouth wide open' type gait.

And yes, definitely ramping up the intensity of the football passion in that part of the World.

Can't really say I take fashion notes at footie matches but I see Norwich fans going to matches every other week and they just look like normally dressed people to me.

Does everybody dress in a bright yellow shirt and use the phrase "bishy-barney-bee" to describe a ladybird?

Maybe we should rate all players on this basis going forward.

I was in Kings Lynn yesterday and can confirm that bods from that neck of the woods are an extremely strange bunch.

ITFC_Keane We lost 3-2 at Blackburn but your superb win at Derby means we're in the Play-off's!

So we couldn't do it on our own but your boys showed up and did it for us. Forever grateful.

Cheers boys. We'll probably get hammered by the Scum, but we're there!!!

Jakarta Bee Didn't see that result coming but thanks very much! A favour from Reading! Wonders will never cease.

No worries lads, see you next season.

To be fair, I work in the centre of Reading and the percentage of weirdos, loonies and generally odd types in pretty high here as well....
They are just our weirdos, loonies and oddballs.

The best two sides based on league position have gone through in every playoff from championship to conference.

All the play off finals are between the teams who finished in the top two play off positions.

Every division in the Football League and the Conference, 6 in all, was won by a team beginning with the letter B

Each team relegated from each division, from the Premiership to the Conference South, was crap.

I watched Ipswich on television two or three times during the season and was amazed that they scraped into the top 6. A side packed with mediocrity if ever there was one - that utter plodder Jay Flabb was a regular in their team, for instance - they even lost twice to us without scoring FFS

Reason they did so well? McCarthy is a brilliant manager for that level. I'd have him over Clarke any day of the week.
