Snowflake Royal
Hound Be nice if Mbengue, Fornah, Azeez, NGW and Abrefa all hung around and continued developing with us

Be a nice core of good newish young players to build round

Yeah, tbh this already doesn't look like a particularly awful team does it...

....................Boyce-Clarke
.......Holmes, Mbengue, McIntyre
Abrefa.........Leavy, Craig..........NGW
....Azeez..............................Camara
..................Ehibhatiomhan

Bloody awful, "you don't win anything with kids and foreign players"

Pretty sure you'd know a lot about not winning at things. Mainly life.

Imagine misquoting a phrase famous for being proved utterly wrong to support your prejudice.

You'd have to be spectacularly thick.

Or Brobot. No wait, already covered it.

Not sure if Leavy will make it and I'm hoping that Abbey will be able to develop into a good player as well.

Our academy is definitely something to build off and that's not even including the potential of selling one or two off in the next couple of years for profits in order to improve our squad elsewhere as well. Holmes has attracted interest in most windows for a while now for instance.

But the facts tell us the last time Reading FC won anything significant was with a majority British team, British manager, and British owners!

The FACTS tell us that City have won almost evrything with mostly overseas players, an overseas manager and being owned by a foriegn nation state.

Longs’ mrs posted on instagram a picture of Shane and his kid in a restaurant in Reading at lunchtime today. Which Would suggest he hasn’t travelled.

Would suggest either Meite in or a change of formation as be surprised if Azeez started up top. Find out in 10 I guess.

Lots out injured No Hendrick,Long or Rahman. Ince only on the bench.
Joao, Holmes, Hutchinson Moore and Tetek all out so at least eight out. Yids suspended.

It looks like a back five again tonight.

Makes his comment about continuity in selecting the team for Rotherham look a bit stupid tonight

That does not look like a strong team. At all.

I can see the timewasting already and we haven't kicked off yet.

Star performers from the Rotherham game have come into the starting XI, not more we can ask for.

Don’t like the formation but Dann apart its a decent side with a bit more pace.

Basically pick a load of big lumps, sit back and defend and hope Azeez can put in a couple more decent set pieces

Not going to be a great watch I doubt

Everything was poor. As is foreign. I have no issues with the other two.

The point, however, remains - your argument is as strong as damp bog roll.

Last time we won anything significant, we had a Russian owner, an Aussie keeper, Irish and Latvian in defence, Turkish, Jamaican, Anitguan and Malain in midfield and an, Irish and Grenadan up front.
