Hendo People love doing mental gymnastics with this club.

Anything said about the club that looks wrong but sounds negative must always be negative, club can do no right sometimes.

It's not surprising when people are finally cottoning on to how badly run the club has been for a decade

That is true, but the amount of people I see putting 2 and 2 together and getting 15 is a bit stupid.

"Lee Johnson was spotted in the stadium, that must mean he is going to be our new manager"

No, he is actually manager of Hibbs who were looking (and now have) to appoint McDermott as DoF. He was probably down doing other things, meeting McDermott and wanted to catch a game. That was the actual reason.

"Kia is in attendance, that must mean he is still pulling the strings"

Well, no. The club have repeatedly told us he isn't involved anymore and no signings or managerial appointments have had anything to do with him over the last year. He also represents a few existing players and is friends with the owner.

Yeah. I'm in a grump at the moment, so my uncharitable take is there are always a few morons around you should just ignore.

Yeah for sure, just pisses me off when people don't even think about giving the club the benefit of the doubt and just always going to the most negative option/opinion, without stopping to think there might be a much more logical explanation.

I've seen enough comments on Twitter along the lines of "League One will mean Dai will walk away and let us go out of business" to last a lifetime.

Yes he has a track record with Renhe and Roeselare but, and perhaps I'm a bit RTG about this, but I think we're too big to go bust.

I would tend to agree as well.

I think it was Stranded who posted something as well and there were certainly mitigating factors with both of the other clubs as well.

I think the Chinese one was a team that had moved around cities 4 or 5 times in like 20 years or something and ended in a city with 2 other professional teams.

I think the Belgian one as well was something like them being a much smaller club than us, so were never going to be able to survive.
