Started well, tailed off, finished well and probably should have won in the 90 on balance.

Subs were the right call and positively impacted the game, Mola had a very decent 2nd half after a poor first. Penalties all nicely finished.

Draw still regionalised in R3, so we will play one of:

Wycombe
Oxford
Crawley
Peterborough
Brighton u21
West Ham u21
Portsmouth/Wimbledon

We can be drawn away to one of the u21 sides and if so believe the game would be at the first team stadium but they have the option to switch the tie.

Similar to Stranded’s view

First half we were ok ish- poor goal to concede, some good moments

Second half poor until Knibbs and co came on. Then went up another gear when Kelv came on for Smith (who didn’t have a great game). Not loads went right for Kelv but he was a massive nuisance

Had loads of chances last 15 and a very good equaliser. Should have gone on to win. All pens good, and beside the clown show silliness from Perreira, he knows how to do a penalty shoot out. Only going to be one winner after he phased the guy out on the first

Abbey superb, Vickers and Binden good. Mola dreadful first half then a bizarrely great second. Eliott improved throughout

Azeez, Knibbs and Savage changed the game. Azeez very dangerous particularly

We went 4-1-4-1 second half which sort of worked. But still a huge gap between defence and front 5

I am just glad that we won a game albeit on penalties. Is Mola a LB or RB as he looks better at RB. League One survival and a trip to Wembley would be pretty special.

Also , I hope IR can find a way of getting rid of Dai without being caught.

We got a home draw in this round due to winning our group, however, i'm guessing this doesn't apply in this round and the draw will dictate the home team?
Also happy with any of them bar Peterbrough and maybe Pompey.

Started well. Fart arsed ourselves into nothing and conceded the usual sloppy goal.

Was playing board games with friends for the second half so didn't really see it.

Did see a couple of good pens and a save.

Saw Savage picked up a cracker to equalise.

Lots of our players continue to blow hot and cold and we still look quite disjointed.

No they aren't.

From the EFL Trophy regulations

Semi Finals.

The four winners from the quarter-finals will contest the semi-finals.

Semi-final pairings are determined by means of an unseeded draw with no regionalisation. .

The Club drawn first is the Home Club.

Matches will be played by way of only one leg and be of ninety minutes duration with no extra time. If the scores are level at the end of the Match then the winners shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with procedures as approved by IFAB.
