Seems strangely subdued and just not that good, too laid back for my liking but luckily have capitalised on a couple of Wycombe foul-ups.

Wonder if we’ll ever get a corner?

Time for the rest of the division to be very afraid. Marriott's first brace of the season. If he starts scoring more than 1 goal in a game his final tally is going to be huge.

2 moments of quality from Marriot have papered over a woeful 45 minutes there.

Think we'll need to improve in the second half to hold on to this

A real Smash and grab first half. Need to do better in the second half. Young should probably come off at HT for WiFi. On a yellow had a couple of clumsy challenges after too.

That has been the entire half. Apart from being gifted a goal by Wycombe we have done zilch.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that you you think the entire game has been shit.

It has been. Am I supposed to say we've been playing like Brazil? We've been terrible, but we'll take the two Wycombe assists.

This observation is correct, really not been very good, it’s just the approach is not “take the game to them” - we’re at home ffs

Seem content to just let them have the ball, really want more from the management it terms of getting a display, a performance, something. Got a bit of luck and managed to capitalise at least, so it could be worse but really expect more.

At least Wycombe can’t get much better as no doubt we’ll now start dropping deeper and deeper.

It’s same old really, don’t look great but for Marriotts exceptional form. First goal was great anticipation. Their keeper should have done better with the second I think but he did hit it well

The defending at this level is pretty awful isn’t it. Those two goals from a defensive pov absolutely appalling

Not sure we’ve defended much better; they just haven’t take their chances

Really not seen anything much of Doyle, Lane and Young.

But 2-0 up so can’t complain too much

Good shout, trouble is you have to balance it carefully, he’s very young still so you don’t want to damage confidence etc. Hopefully a careful couple of words will be enough with a substitution after an hour or so, rather than just hooking him at HT. presumably Leam is experienced enough to know what the best move is in such situations.

Today I'm getting kind of echoes of the play off season under Stam.
I can remember walking away after the games back then thinking "how did we win that?"

Not really sure how that's got past Pereira.

Looked like maybe Marriott OG.

This sounds strange to say but other than the two goals we've been terrible.

Can see us losing 4-2.

And Lane - I've counted 3 awful passes. Can he only pass under 12 yards?

We're really bad ffs come on.

Take the two goals out and pretty much no one can take any credit so far

Reminds of the Blackpool game a few seasons ago. 2-0 up at half time against the run of play, then just laid down in the 2nd half and lost 3-2.
