reading-dave22 I have never booed th team in all my 11 years of supporting the club... neither have i booed a single player.

All booing does is send confedence levels to empty... one thing i cant stand is when "loyal royals" who have supported the club for 2.5 seasons thing they hav seen bad football when were in the highest league in the country and aren't in the relagation zone

How are people supposed to display their unhappiness with the way a team has played then. Write Coppell and the players a frigging letter?

Disclaimer - I don't boo the team.

I'm not an advocate of booing, and I didn't boo today. However I did leave early for the first time ever. People have the right to show their disgust at a performance like that in whatever way they see fit.

Barring a minor miracle we are now going down. The only positive is that I shall not be spending another penny on this sorry excuse for a football club.

Gordons Cumming Kitson is an utter disgrace if he walked out today.

This is a time to stick together not do a "Lita"

We saw it a month or so ago, players arguing on the pitch, then again at Newcastle and now we hear this. The dressing room is in tatters, no team spirit, everyone blaming everyone...... Down!

No we are not down. Far from it. We remain in a much better position than Fulham although Bolton could be a real problem.
The dressing room issues do seem to be there this season...remember USA and Sonko squaring up to each other against Boro, Lita's various trials and tribulations, Kitson today and his drink/drive conviction....it doesn't help...but thats what happens at football clubs. Its only a week ago we heard of problems Megson was having at Bolton yet they won today.
We need 5 points from our last four games which is not beyond this team..although it will probably mean beating Derby on the final day....its certainly going to the wire.

I've forever thought that those who boo their own team should be strung up by the knackers, shot in the head and then dragged up to Oxford (not the swearword) to watch the feast of football dished out at the Kassam every other week. But after witnessing the shite platter that was served up to us today I had a little, barely audible boo to myself as i made my way down the steps straight after their second goal (yep booing and leaving early) and it made me feel much much better and i walked out the stadium in a far better mood than i ordinarily would. I might do it again next time i have to witness a performance as thoroughly inept as the one i was subjected to today.

To anyone who hasn't tried booing before but finds themselves kicking stones in anger on their journey back to their car or to those that go home after a defeat and beat their loved ones (mentally or otherwise) for the rest of the weekend; perhaps you should give this revolutionary, cathartic process a try, I thoroughly recommend it.

I have been supporting the team for 10 years home and away I pay my money, and I will "BOO" if I think that the team have taken the piss with a rubbish performance like that today.

I still love my team but that hurt today.

If anyone can be happy with paying money to watch a team play the way we did today they need there head examining.

We could easily of lost 0-5 today if it was not for MOTM CROSSBAR at home to the second worst team in the league who have not won a game away for almost 2 years.

So fairplay to you for supporting your team "probably in utter silence but hey" everybody has the right to air there views towards the team.

Maybe see you at Wigan away?

I did and, like you, felt a lot better for it. ("Better out than in.")

People boo when they are given a rubbish performance,

Today was no different. £565 for a season ticket, £50 petrol and a 250 mile round trip for a home game entitles me to do it IMHO.

I didn't boo, though I did feel physically sick ..........

I took a deep intake of breath and gave it both barrells at the final whistle!

That performance was not acceptable against team, before today, bereft of confidence, all but down, and basically dreadful!
We made them look like FFKin Brazil!

That was a disgraceful performance today and stand up Rosenior, Long, Doyle, Hunt and Shorey for a special BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Dirk Gently
RG30 Good to see the fans have there usual scapegoat of Oster. I feel sorry for the guy who will never get a fair crack amongst Reading fans.

Have you noticed that our 1 (count it - one!) chance today came from an Oster cross.

And have you noticed that we actually looked a worse team after Little and Kitson came on? Or is to say that a heresy?

Regardless of how poorly each player performed today, every one was, and always will be, worth 10 of the little w@nkers who always talk long and hard about "atmosphere" and "isn't the West Stand cr@p" yet either, f*ck off after 80 minutes or, stay just to Boo the team whenever the going gets tough.

Yep, I'm talking about most of the occupants of the southern half of the East Stand.

If I supported any other club I would wish relegation on RFC just for you wonderful people......................goodnight.

I don't think there is ever very much booing and compared to what happens at many other clubs our players get off very lightly after poor performances like today.
I fully expect the club to announce the appointment of a booing counsellor within the next few days after all being responsible for your own actions is so non-U these days.
