royal goof
oldebiscuit For all those fans that booed mills last tuesday here is a generic statement of apology for you to read out;

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all concerned. I am very sorry that i booed Matt last Tuesday, even though his reaction immediately after us booing him was outrageous.
I apologise and realise that us 'big mouthed empty vessels' are a minority, yet we are the ones that the players hear, and although i don't understand why, we do not represent the majority of well behaved, discernable football fans that don't shout their big mouths off.
I am so sorry that i do pees off the average football fan but i am unable to help myself. I realise that it is cowardly to hide in the crowd an abuse people from a safe distance without having to look my target in the eyes, but it make me feel 'big', especially in front of my like minded mates.
I am sorry to say that i take some consolation in knowing that despite the fact that i am in a minority, all clubs throughout the land have 'bell ends' just like me.
I would like to apologise belatedly for being obnoxious in the past, to players like Tony Rougier, Keith Jones, and Andy hughes to name but a few, players that despite being League 1 players, did not perform like Ronaldo week in-week out.
I would like to say that this apology come from the bottom of my heart (sheds tears) and that it will never happen again. I shall be attending a
'minority football fan clinic' for treatment for my embarrassing behaviour. Sorry.

PS It is ok to boo Emille Heskey and other opposing players, but only with a good natured smile.[/quote

You're a Prat. Oh, and I'm someone who didn't boo either.

I'm a prat ? thats ironic ! You lost a cap (yes a cap, cost £5) and made an emotional public plea for the safe return of this cap. Maybe we should get Bob Geldorf to organise a charity concert in order to raise funds towards your new cap. Now that i have your seat number and shall be paying you a visit in the very near future to drop a few coins in your collection tin.

Hi Oldebiscuit,

Feck off you old pcunt amd insert the finger where you like. I reiterate Matt Mills got boo'd for some repeated idiotic mong passes and he got the message. Mate I will be cheering Matt next game - but I don't need lessons in how to support my club from you. So do one..

No, but you obviously need lessons in manners as it appears that your parents failed in this department. Your attitude sadly sums up all that is wrong with the minority of football fans.

Were you there???? Were you in the East Stand??? If you were, then you would know that it was groans of frustrations at the team and NOT booing. You simply could not have been there and are writing this from the ill reported comments of others...
As my Season ticket was in East Stand I was there so get your facts straight!! He was booed more than once by the people around me twice actually before he swore!
No.. there were small boos after his first two gestures, where he told the crowd twice to F**k off. Thats when he decided he'd stick his finger up for everyone to see. If you bothered paying attention you'd know this.
Also, PLEASE stop with all these threads... this is exactly what we DIDNT want. The guys apologised to the fans, thats ALL that there should be. No more god-awful threads from whiny low-lifes who have nothing better to do than wind up other supporters from their own club.
No offence meant here but I was fine until some1 questioned the way they did as to if I was at the game which got my back up as I have never missed one since they moved to the Mad Stad from Elm Park, when I said what I said in first post I meant it I neglected to add the get over it as he has appologised but I still hold the original thought that he should not have been booed in the first place which is what a few people around me where doing.
