FiNeRaIn Grow up you puny brained fools.

What is Reading fans obsession with giving former players and managers abuse? You think he deliberately tried to do shit? He wasn't upto the job, did not ruin the bank or wage budget, we went our separate ways...get over it, move on.

Cos it's fun. I can't wait till that oxf*rd Coppell comes back.

Now he deserves all the booing he'll get - almost ruined us financially by taking us up to the Prem!

Despite all that and his last season horror show the Coppell fan boy brigade will drown out our sensible booing I'm sure.

It has to be "Stand Up If You Hate Rodgers", which could also usefully lend itself to the Stand Up, Sit Down campaign. I have never understood this but most people at RFC particularly the East Stand and Nigel Howe couldn`t stand Rodgers. I think it was the stand off with Howe that led to Rodgers demise, SJM had to step in and stand him down. From my standpoint Rodgers always stood by his principles and tried to play good football, but I accept it is difficult to stand up for the manager when results are so poor. It is time for people to understand that Rodgers was simply misunderstood but if they wish to make a stand, well go ahead with the abuse.
Before anyone asks, yes I do have trouble with a stand on at my age.

Anyone thinking about hurling abuse at Rodgers needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

It could be argued that both Pardew and Mcghee "did the dirty on us" and therefore merit some sort of abuse. Rodgers on the other hand really wanted the best for Reading FC, he was just unable to make it work at all. Good natured ribbing will be expected, but personal abuse? I don't think so.

This comparison of Rodgers with McGhee and Pardew is interesting. For me, both Pardew and McGhee were excellent managers who brought success to the club. I was upset when McGhee left but everyone knew that it was only a matter of time before he went on to bigger things. The mistake that he made was to criticise the club via the national media. That created a lot of animosity which has, sadly, not subsided. For me, he was one of the best that we have had and I will always be grateful for bringing a style of football hat I had not seen previously.

As for Pardew, what did he do wrong? I think he made a mistake in leaving us and I genuinely thought that we were realistic contenders for promotion. Has Pardew ever bad mouthed the club or supporters since? I don't think so.

Compare the records of these two managers with that of Rodgers. To mention BR in the same breath as McGhee and Pardew is just wrong. BR achieved nothing with us and we were not so far from relegation before the axe fell. Had we waited any longer then who knows where we wold have finished.

That must have taken you an age to come up with this snippet of originality. You really are to be commended on your wit and speed of thought. Sometimes I wish that I was more like you.

You know what's gonna happen. A few no marks up in Y26 will be giving him the boo treatment, then the anti-Rodgers songs will happen. Then Swansea will score, their fans will give it the biggun, Y26 will be left with eggs on their faces and feeling like the whole world is against them.
