handbags_harris A few points:

1) Lisbie's header whilst poor, was offside anyway. Wouldn't have counted.
2) Millwall fans made an impressive amount of noise for a 10k crowd, and much like Pompey, comes at you from three sides. LOL @ thinking them quiet
3) Cracking game of football, as exciting a 0-0 as you will see. Great point gained.
4) Not saying much more having watched the game through the eyes of Olde Trip and Gaymers.

Aren't alot of millwall fans still banned from home games?

Having read the Millwall forums for the last year or two, they seem too be able to get around this and their travelling restrictions quite easily. It might just be internet bravado(sp?) but alot of them mention they are banned or aren't members but still go to the away games (they require membership to go) Though tbf they took 40k too wembley for the league 1 play off final last year and made a hell of alot of noise.

I thought there support was quite good yesterday, we had 2 groups of singers in our end, and until it got going you struggled too hear the other group from across the stand so i suppose hearing Millwall fans from the other side of the pitch must mean they were quite loud..

Mills was my MOTM by the way.. I also thought Jobi had a good game and looked more interested for the whole game than he normally does. (albeit he was quiet when at right back) Obviously Kebe and Feds deserve a mention for their performances. And the whole team looked pretty strong. We seemed to get through the shaky bits, with some last ditch defending and poor shooting but we countered well and looked threatening when the midfield had the ball..

Some more Millwall comments from a different board: http://z7.invisionfree.com/MISA_Message ... wtopic=121
Some think Kebe best they have seen this year, but lacks a good cross and cut inside too much.

LoyalRoyalFan Were the Reading fans in good voice?

The top 6 or 7 rows which were standing were pretty much the only fans in the whole ground making any noise.

Millwall fans were very disappointing....apart from the LOLegendary little chavs at the end.

That is complete and utter rubbish

Millwall fans were backing the team from start to finish and I was particularly fond of the way they barracked our players / the officials from ALL 3 sides

I almost wanted them to score first to see them celebrate and then come back and win with 2 late goals to see them despair ala Birmingham play off game

Hmm, perhaps I was expecting too much given it was my first trip to Millwall, but I was a tad underwhelmed given their reputation. I guess thinking about it the atmosphere was 100x better than it normally is at the Mad Stad, so yeah fair enough.

Still think we held our own against them though.

Nope. Wasn't me they interviewed, it was Paul Black and, as the USA is only a vague and unsubstantiated rumour to him, I wouldn't think their Dept of Justice would be interested in him.

If you still hate Futcher
Bucks Dave Good idea in their programme - a 1981 Reading Millwall programme was included as well as a description of all the players at that time.

Did it also include a description of the riot they caused.

I also seem to remember that, as a result, George Graham (their manager at the time) was going to concede us the match when a Reading fan laid one on him

You're thinking of the 1983 game at EP I reckon.

1) It wasn't Lisbie...
2) Agreed
3) Agreed and Agreed
4) Mills was brilliant. Kebe was absolutely sensational.

(a) We were ripped apart too often

(b) Cummings looks weak

Stranded
The whole year inn Reading would be a decent side if they had a striker that could finish his dinner

There is no goals in the side. We cant rely on set pieces and 0-0 draws all season for points

That was the first time this season we have failed to score in a game.

'in the side' changed to 'up front' was the point I was making.

We are doing alright with no decent strikers at present.
