Pretty gutted I can’t make it today, tbh. Can only imagine the scenes when Meite comes on and bags a last minute winner.

WestYorksRoyal Today feels defining in my view. Sell out, hopefully a positive atmosphere. The squad has ability and is returning to fitness, so what we really need is a result to break this awful rut. I could see us having one of Pauno's streaky 5 - 6 game runs to keep us up.

But more shit on the pitch and a soft defeat and again we're all scratching our heads for where the next point is coming from.

I feel the same.

The squad is massively underperforming, but playing in front of a big crowd might give them a lift, and this team, with a bit of possitivity, is going to be far better than now.

Win today, and we probably go and win at Peterborough in the week too, and that would be huge.

I bet it'll end up 2-1. Playing Coventry is like Groundhog Day.

More likely it’ll be a last minute consolation to seal a 4-1 defeat.

On BBCRB last night Dellor spoke to a local Coventry journalist who said although results haven’t been great of late, they have been playing some fantastic football, just can’t put the ball in the net.

Must admit that filled me with dread.

Yes, today is our Cup Final.

Win and we’ll stay up. Lose and we’ll go down. Simple as that.

We've got such a good record in huge one off games too.

Blue Label
NathStPaul
Blue Label Officially now Sold out.

Just goes to show this town is crying out for a decent football team.

Or the club gave away about 7000 free tickets.

Is that a fact ?

I saw it as a positive thing.

They gave a shit load to schools and local football clubs. My sons club were offered 100 and we aren't even that local. If you think about how many schools and football clubs there are you'd have to think the free tickets are in the thousands.

Its not a bad thing, if some of the kids end up becoming supporters then it's worked out well.

Very unlikely with this team. More probable that it would put them off for good.

Not really. If we lose and Derby lose it is status quo. Today isn't about the result, its about rioting and causing as much damage as humanly possible.

Point difference is not relevant in my point - it’s all about the medium term impact on mental state/confidence will that a win in a jumping full house or a loss in a toxic stadium will make.

Holiday Inn is decent. Go on one of the parking apps and book it, only £3.50 and a 10 minute walk.

We'll win today. Putting on a fan protest only for the team to dampen it by actually winning a football match would be the most Reading thing ever.
