karbota
Snowflake Royal Imagine misquoting a phrase famous for being proved utterly wrong to support your prejudice.

You'd have to be spectacularly thick.

Or Brobot. No wait, already covered it.

But the facts tell us the last time Reading FC won anything significant was with a majority British team, British manager, and British owners!

assuming you mean the 11/12 season when we won the champ

here are the players who played the most in the usual positions

GK- Fedders - Australian
RB andy griffin - English
LB Harte - irish
CB Pearce -Scottish
CB Gorkss- Latvian
CM -Leigertwood - Antigua and Barbuda
CM - Jem Karacan - Turkish
RW - Kebe - Mali
LW - HRK -Wales
ST - Noel Hunt - Irish
ST - Roberts - Grenada

so 3 British players in the first 11

Seems especially defensive even for us, NGW and Hoilett and going to have to provide us with something in the wide areas and hopefully we can see Azeez and Carroll link up together and do bits for us up top. Maybe a bit of inspiration from Fornah in the middle.

Other than that, might be a tough watch and set pieces might be our route to winning the game.

Alex Pearce was capped by Ireland.

Lots of 2nd/3rd generation immigrants there.

Just buying my NowTV pass and Sky have this listed as Relegation threatened Cardiff against fellow strugglers Reading.

Uhh...okay?

Brogue Carrol with a right hook

Well, it might seem like that based on Perry NG's reaction.

Adam Le Fondre.

Even the 2006 team had 6 foreigners in the starting 11 as well as the likes of Bryn, Hunt and Long on the bench, that's if you ignore the fact Lita was actually a refugee from DR Congo.
