Sigh

Why do we look so much better in cups. Is it just the quality of opposition?

So one of our most effective players going forward Vickers, is fit and for some reason the clown of a manager isn't playing him in league games.. Inexplicable.

Mostly quality of opposition.

They're less experienced than us for a change. Plus there's no pressure and the games are more open and less physical.

We've got a talented but mostly young and inexperienced squad. When its like for like, they do well.

In an ideal world, they'd be eased into the matchday squad and given time and space to properly develop.

What formation are we playing and is it any different to the league set up?

That might be the softest yellow card I've ever seen.

Don't worry, normal service will be resumed once you starting meeting teams in the ko stages who actually start taking it seriously.

We've been a bit varied in the League with the stupid 4-2-2-2, 4-4-2, 4-1-4-1...

Looks much the same to more recent stuff.

I'd definitely play Vickers in place of Azeez in the league right now.

And could potentially see: Mbengue/Holmes in for Bindon
Kelv for Ballard
Craig for Hutch

Would this count as our first competitive win against Arsenal?

Very impressed with Vickers and craig so far. Craig i think has enough about him to be starting in our midfield, not to sure about Vicker's just yet, however would make a great impact sub.
Regarding Vickers, i don't think he'll get much chance up front as Smith, Ballard and Kelvin.E are all ahead of him at present, saying that i think Vickers would make a great Attacking midfield playing just off the striker?

Been probably asked, but when is the date for the next round of this? And will it still be divided north vs north / south vs south?

Wouldn't disagree with that.
