howser Dont really understand the panic, we are playing Fulham on Saturday we have a reasonable home record, they are struggling badly the only thing that will stop us comfortably winning will be if we are "scared" to lose, three more points will definately keep us up, coz Bolton and Fulham are dire !!! and will struggle to break the thirty point barrier !!

the panics in your post if you look closely

bolton took the p!ss out of us at home

im not worried imo we will win 2-0 or 3-1 saturday

Indeed Bolton did but people need to stop focusing on that result. Our home form against teams in the bottom half

P7 W5 D1 L1 F10 A7 Pts 16

Fulham & Spurs to play.

So half our points this year have come in games very similar to the one we are going into on Saturday - Bolton was a blip in the middle of the record defeats. I for one am confident we'll get the job the done at the weekend.

bit worried about the bring a friend promotion this weekend
not sure on the advisability of having loads o newbies at the game when we need massive support to get through this game
though if they were struggling to sell then i guess they had no choice

Was down the MadStad yesterday and Fulham and Spurs is down to single seats only - plenty of disappointed punters turned away.

Not only do we need to win this but we could also do with a hatful of goals. At present our goal difference is 2 worse than Bolton so 3 or more on the goal difference could end up being worth another point. So you could say this is a 7 pointer!

Vocal support is going to be very very important, however plastic it may be it is vital that everybody joins in with all songs, chants and if it goes quiet makes a point of starting something themselves.

Also all negative comments regarding any Reading players should remain at home for the afternoon.

With Arsenal away looming straight after, a win is absolutely vital, esp. with Bolton being at home to the currently hapless Hammers and not knowing quite which Everton will present itself at St Andrews.

Soel's record for Fulham this season

15/09/2007 Wigan 1 v 1 Fulham
22/09/2007 Fulham 3 v 3 Man. City
29/09/2007 Chelsea 0 v 0 Fulham
07/10/2007 Fulham 0 v 2 Portsmouth
20/10/2007 Fulham 0 v 0 Derby
27/10/2007 Sunderland 1 v 1 Fulham
25/11/2007 Fulham 2 v 2 Blackburn
03/12/2007 Man. Utd. 2 v 0 Fulham
08/12/2007 Everton 3 v 0 Fulham
26/12/2007 Tottenham 5 v 1 Fulham
01/01/2008 Fulham 1 v 2 Chelsea
19/01/2008 Fulham 0 v 3 Arsenal

First three matches they managed to draw, lost, drew the next three and have then lost the last five he played in and has not been since since 19th jan.

How fulham want to beat us

"We can win it we just have to play good football playout wide get davies to cross it in and slot it on mcbrides head"

I think the "good football" thing is going to be the hardest.

What they think about him

"Why should I watch this cvnt? Not intrested, not good enough. SIMPLE! To make things worse he played on the right and affected Simon Davies perfomance by making him play on the left. The only good he would do Fulham is to sell hotdogs at half time"

"This man should never play again truly abysmal."

"Probably the worst player I've seen in the premiership this season. Did nothing right, was lazy, careless in possesion and never tracked back or tackled. He is cr*p and should be dropped."

Having just played out the game on stickfootball I am sorry to report I expect a 2-1 defeat as Chris Makin gives away a last minute penalty :|

I don't think it's the biggest game of the season. I think Birmingham beats this by some way.

That's right, imagine Forssell's shot had gone in rather than hitting Hahnemann's legs, and Birmingham had won. We'd be on 29 and Birmingham on 33 (I think). We can just about afford to draw on Saturday, the Birmingham win was such an important result. I was surprised that the atmosphere was so flat at that game, maybe people were too nervous to support the team or didn't realise how important it was.
