Good finish to what has been an interesting ??? season, and good to see the young lads fnally being given the chance to show thier talent.
What now I wonder ? hopefully BMcD will get the support from the management that will allow him to keep hold of our good young players and bring some fresh blood in to bolster the back four. Will be interesting to see who is going to be leaving ?

Sheffield wednesday fans have taken exception to their relegation and ran onto the pitch to confront palace fans who ran on the pitch celebrating. Wednesday fans beat the palace fans off the pitch then started dishing out hidings to the palace players as well, expecting repercussions from that. Full scale riot police all over the place.

Whilst violence can not be condoned, there's no way that the Palace fans should have got anywhere near the pitch.

Agreed, especially when the hurt was obvious for sheff wed. Who do they think they are invading the pitch? Its understandable when the other team has nothing to play for, but sending them down and invading the pitch...got what they deserved. Can imagine palace fans are getting a pretty hefty beating around hillsbrough tonight, loads of angry wednesday fans, they were raging.

I find any violence of this nature disgusting but the actions of the Palace supporters invading the pitch in these circumstances are uqually so.

Indeed. Palace fans made themselves fair game the moment they entered the playing arena. But, as you say, the players are supposed to be there.
