I am not sure how much use he is sitting in the stands clapping.

If he's 'doing his hours' as it were for the community department during the week then I don't see why the club should insist he sits through a tepid game of football at the weekend.

On a similar note, why aren't people annoyed at Karacan/Bridge/Legs for not always being there?

He'd still score more goals than Pogrebnyak.

YateleyRoyal Qualified as a boardroom director.

Now we know what he's been doing with all the spare time - studying for a qualification

But what do you need to become a boardroom director - would like to see the curriculum and a previous exam paper to see what it takes

Because as far as we know they aren't off doing a second job and boosting their finances whilst the club are also paying them.

Royal Lady As I put on the Buyout thread, is it just me, or if we are still paying him to the end of the season, shouldn't he still be at least watching and supporting his current team mates in their games, rather than earning loads more dosh commentating on games for 5Live or whatever?

Of all the things to moan about at a time of - financial hardship/Adkins/team selection/Gorkss/ - you pick Jason Roberts :|

I mentioned the financial situation later on after this post. As I said, my belief is that he is contributing to our financial hardship by taking his wages until the end of season and also working in his media career - ergo, he's sticking a metaphorical two fingers up at the club and fans imo. It's fair enough if his contract said he could be paid until the end of the season, but quite another if the idiots (and we all know who they were) didn't put a caveat in saying he should be at the club, at least on match days.

Well, I've said my tuppence worth and wound up E-P on the other thread into the bargain, so not a bad morning's work all in all.

Why are any of those things more worthy of moaning about?

It just had to be something to do with diversity didn't it?
I see it was funded by the PFA and not by the individuals-I'm starting to think that our Jason is a bit of a freeloader.

You choose...

The fact that the club could go into administration next season (if a buyer isn't found) or the fact that Jason Roberts has other things to worry about than his former club.

The club would be covered by medical insurance, I don't think the main source of our financial troubles is going to be Jason Roberts.

Nobody said he was the main source of the financial issues. RL just said that he contributed. Do keep up.

I think some people have always had a problem with Jason Roberts; easy to blame when things go wrong...
