Right - will collate data on the plane and then try to come up with something creative for after the euphoria/meltdown of the Charlton game ;)

Some people are cheating by submitting under different user names!

Yeah, sorry guys. RL is clearly one of my pseudonyms. Please ignore everything I have posted on that account, including my pathetic attempt at cheating on here.

Shouldn't this be in competitions?

What do I win if I hate Jason Roberts? A blowjob off RL?

You might want to get her to take her dentures out beforehand.

As promised...

I put the data into a spreadsheet and the data looks like this - apologies that you need to zoom out to fit the images:

This is how popular the players character are viewed:

And compared to their performances:

Apologies that the graphs are not easy to decipher. Thats partly because I'm not very technical when it comes to creating graphs, but partly because no obvious themes bore out.

Only 3 people like the both the performances and character of Guthrie AND Federici, and only 2 people disliked both peoples performances and characters - this was totally against my hypothesis. Many people were indifferent to one of them, or perhaps disliked one's character but likes the performances.

So, a couple of Nobber awards:

Happiest - Pepe the Horseman (honourable mention to melonhead)
Never Unhappy - Royal Waster and Pistol Pete
Most Black or White - Ferris and Wimb
Most Indifferent - Handsome man and Royal biscuitman
Most Miserable - billybraggsbeard

And some player awards:

Best bloke award - Jay Tabb
Biggest Dick award - Matt Mills
Best Player award - Adam Federici
Worst Performance Award - Brenden Rodgers

You made the most of some unhelpful data there. Good job.

I thought the concept of "Profiling" was to say that people who thought X were also more likely to think Y. People who thought Z, really didn't care for ‡ etc etc

Now it's easy to knock and there's no doubt Pete has done some gr8 work here, just think it's a shame he's not gone the extra mile.

Going the extra mile, brought to you by Green:

Anyway, in answer to your point, I wanted to do exactly that, it's just no data that came up really showed anything interesting! Take a look at the excel spreadsheet and see if you find anything. If you notice anything let me know and i'll do some graphs :)

How about a 3x2 grid (for the six players) of the 3x3 tables D/I/L vs D/I/L.
That way we can see if the 20 who disliked Rodgers are the same 20 who wanted him sacked, for instance.

Squeezing a sample of 50 into a 3x3 isnt THAT bad.

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you're asking for? PM me your email address and I'll send you the file and maybe you can do it? Nice little job while you watch the Utd game ;)

Yeah - about that.
Sadly my Excel skills dont go much further than spending 5 minutes looking for the merge cells button.
I didnt want to knock your effort though - sorry fella.
