More important on the coaching side IMHO is one that focusses on the defence.
Goalkeeping has not been a problem, the kit has always looked nice and clean but IMHO our defensive work has been dire so a new defensive coach would be no.1 on my list especially if supposedly there is a big shake-up going on and building a side firstly from the back has often been the successful way to go.

TFF Mid/lower level coaching staff don't cost a fortune - paying off a one year rolling contract won't be the end of the world.

Have you seen Bibbo's car in the car park?

We aren't the only people he works for.
Being a club goalkeeping coach is hardly a full time occupation....

Once you've got your hands on a job like that you really wouldn't want it to slip out of your grasp...

We don't know do we?

Maybe the kit man is the biggest most irritating ar$ehole at the club and gets on Clarke's tits
If so he has probably done the right thing in getting rid

We don't know do we?!

If Clarke really thinks those are the areas that need to/could be strengthened as a matter of priority then it really is confirmation that he is pretty clueless and is only likely to take the club in one direction - continuing where he left off last season.

How about our focussing on our inability to produce a decent number of shots, let alone on target, during the the majority of games that he has been in charge.

Doesn't matter how little it took to pay off those staff, IMO it was money that we didn't need to waste.

As for Bibbo - with friends like Hammond and Madejski standing by his side - he won't need to look for any enemies! Great thanks for his loyalty and fantastic contribution over the years.

Have you ever liked a manager we've had? I'm not sure my memory goes back far enough

He liked Nigel Adkins which is why he doesn't like Clarke.

Ever thought that might be what he is doing? He could be freeing up space in the staff for a striking coach, you just don't know.

We need a goalkeeping coach and physio so we'll be signing new ones regardless (unless Clarke wants our junior ones to do more, which I suspect is the case with Armstrong - apparently he has two assistants). I suppose they could be being paid too much.

Does anyone have a link to a video of Selby getting bundled by Murty? Reading history there.

FFS - Anyone would think someone has died. Think people are placing FAR too much emphasis on this....

None of us have any real barometer as to how good Bibbo is in comparison to other coaches. Everyone knows we need a big clear out so it should come as no surprise that this includes backroom staff too.

Let Clarke do his thing.

You clearly have no idea of management.

Oh and pre season training don't start till late June early July. HTH.

The club should be taking a look at our transfers over the last 4 years. Absolutely. Shocking.

The purpose of a DoF is to prevent the likes of HRK getting a lucrative contract extension. To prevent signings like Anton Ferdinand and Pog. To ensure we can keep hold of good players like Karacan. To stop us signing Akpan and Blackman.

Should have been Nicky Hammond getting the sack after the last 4 years, not the fucking kit man

I hear Selby wanted the Kingsley job back but the club refused - so he decided to give SC a medium training top instead of a large....

Perhaps it doesn't prove that Hammond is making the wrong decisions but that these decisions are no longer in his hands?

I can't imagine he would have approved Pog, Gutherie, Ferdinand etc. They don't strike me as players Madejski would have sanctioned.
