andrew1957 The worst of playing them early in the season is that we could go down there - get a hard won win - perhaps have a player or two injured and then lose the points again if they go out of business before the end of the season. I almost hope we lose as it will be less annoying if they go out of business.
At least we are playing them away I suppose. It would be even more annoying if we beat them at home and then lost the points later.

Still Hate Futcher! Spawny fekkers! I don't understand how they can get away with paying the HMRC, local businesses and St Johns Ambulance 20p in the pound while still paying some players wages we couldn't possibly match. I'd love to know why so many groups were happy to accept the CVA.

Balram Chainrai is prepared to become Portsmouth owner for a second time by purchasing it through Portpin, his investment company, according to Andrew Andronikou, the club's administrator.
The Hong Kong businessman, who is Portsmouth's largest secured creditor and is owed around £17m, controlled the club before it entered administration in February. Andronikou recently agreed a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) to exit the process, though Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs may challenge the terms, which state that creditors will receive 20 pence in the pound over the next five years.

The worst thing is that they still have some good players and could beat us. They might lose those players later, meaning other clubs would have an easier game against them.

Still Hate Futcher! So what happens next? Do they have to exit administration before Saturday to avoid a points deduction? Is that likely to happen straight away now that they've won their court case? Is the transfer embargo lifted with immediate effect? How are they gonna afford new players when presumably, even with the CVA, their debt is probably 10 times ours?
I get the impression their future is still pretty uncertain. The annoying thing is that it should be a certain future - in Hampshire League Division 4.
