Snowball Start H Scunthorpe LOST 1-2
OUT A Torquay WON 1-0
Start A Portsmouth Drew 1-1
Start H Forest Drew 1-1
OUT H Northampton Drew 3-3
Start A Leicester WON 2-1

That's P6 W2 D3 L1 9-8 and the equivalent of 1.5 points per game

Next 6 games?

H Crystal Palace 3-0 WIN
A Millwall 0-0 DRAW
A Middlesbrough 1-3 DEFEAT
H Barnsley 3-0 WIN
H Ipswich Town
A Preston

Money where yer mouth is. No Gylfi. We have a tougher six teams to face. Will we get better results overall than P6 W2 D3 L1 9-8 and the equivalent of 1.5 points per game?

So W2 D1 L1 7-3 1.75 points per game so far, doing BETTER so far than in the first six games

Clearly we can't cope without Gylfi, and that Harte bloke will never score...

I had Ipswich as a loss so whatever happens, one of us will have had 5 out of 6 - hopefully RR 8)

WELL THE ANSWER WAS YES!!! WITH ONE GAME SPARE!

So P5 W3 D1 L1 8-3 = 2.0 points per game so far, doing BETTER so far than in the first six games

Clearly we can't cope without Gylfi, and that Harte bloke will never score, AND NO CHANCE OF KEEPING CLEAN SHEETS...

Well the six games up to Gylfi leaving, (two against lower-league opposition), versus six games since

P6 W2 D3 L1 9-8 07 POINTS
P6 W3 D2 L1 9-4 11 POINTS

Scored the same number of goals, conceded four less.

So are we missing Gylfi?

Did actually Gylfi play in those two games against lower-league opposition then? :|

If you had a point to make with those stats it's beyond me.

And for the next 6 games...

Swansea (H)
Bristol City (A)
Burney (A)
Doncaster (H)
QPR (A)
Cardiff (H)

I expect....

WWDWLD

Depends of Cardiff's ability to keep Bellamy fit and Colin keeping his run going.

Swansea have a big book of tactics so who can tell!

Brizzle have been awful so we should be able to take advantage (used every player in their squad except the injured Maynard!).

For my ownpart, I thought we would get more than 9 points
ie We'd do better than the with Gylfi games.

11 Points WDLWWD Rotherwick Royal <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
11 Points WDWWLD Bon Boh <<<<<<<<<<<
10 Points WLDWLW NR Royal
10 Points WDLWLW Horsham Royal
10 Points “I think we might start to improve, even without Gylfi.” Facaldaqui

09 Points WDLWDD Loyal Royal for Life
09 Points WLD WD or DW L Dante the Loyal Royal
07 Points DDLWDD Pearcey
07 Points “Only 1 win in our 1st six. P6 W1 D4 L1. 2 draws v League 2 teams. Doubt we will better that in our next 6. Tony le Mesmer
04 Points Road Runner

?? “Relegated by Xmas” Turns 8

?? “The points we have got so far are all from teams pretty low down or at the bottom of the division, so if we get points against the "better" teams we should count ourselves very lucky imo.” Royal Lady

?? For a start, our opening performances haven't exactly set the world a light. We've now sold our best goal scorer and biggest threat. Now, you tell me where this amazing form is going to come from and who will bang in all these goals? Or are you of the thinking we're all set to master the 1-0? Answers on a post card. Road Runner

Bristol City (A) W
Burney (A) D
Doncaster (H) W
QPR (A) L
Cardiff (H) D

I worry a little about the Swansea game, REALLY want to win that one. If we have serious intentions we need to win at Bristol, but just the sort of place to NOT win. Burnley at their place is a very tough one. We need to be tight for twenty minutes. I can see a draw there, though. A win would be fantastic.

We should have enough to beat Doncaster, with normal luck and no sendings-off. Ought to be beaten at QPR as they look Premiership quality so far, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us get a result there and then be home to Cardiff and fail to beat them!

W Swansea (H)
W Bristol City (A)
D Burnley (A)
W Doncaster (H)
D QPR (A) They have to drop points eventually!!
D Cardiff (H)

Sheesh that totals 12 points. I don't feel THAT optimistic.
Will be happy with ten points from these, ecstatic with 11.

Looking at these six games they will tell us a lot about the season to come. QPR are very likely to win the league so not being beaten there would be a big result. If we could draw (or better) at Burnley and beat Cardiff we could do ourselves a huge favour. We could be second or third after these six, or back in mid-table
