Ark Royal I have a full match VHS of Exeter 4 Reading 6 from 93/94. Got it from Exeter somehow. Would gladly donate it to the cause.

I know a man who's desperate to have this as his copy was lost when lent to the club! We'll create some DVDs from it and send one back to you and keep another for the archive.

We've tried Exeter but they can't trace it - even though they can give you chapter and verse on Brazil v Exeter in 1914!

I'll pm you.

STAR Liaison [Tony Le Mesmer: There is a Royals Gems for 84-86 I believe, although sadly the 85-86 winning run is not part of it due to Strike Action.]

Yes, I can see that now on the fella's promotional leaflet - such Gems as games v Bognor, Wealdstone and New Zealand but sadly not the 4-3 v Plymouth or the 2-2 v Wolves (thanks, Mike Lewis). Does anyone have this tape?

I've def got the first Royals Gems (white cover) on VHS somewhere.....there are the FA Cup games too ....shame very few league games from 1985/6 but I'm sure Derby and Doncaster (last 2 home games) are on there.

I had the Derby and Doncaster games on VHS, but unfortunately long gone.

Used to have the full match 1st round Simod Cup QPR v Reading (1-3) on VHS (got from QPR) but has sadly long since disappeared with a load of other vintage footage left at my parent's house and victims of a brutal clearout..

Several are mentioned here already but there were quite a few videos of full home games in 86-88 or thereabouts. Don't own any myself. Of away games, the only one I remember was Sheffield United away from October 1986. It was about 60 minutes.

Was that the 3-0 down, and we drew 3-3 game at Bramall Lane? I was there and all three goals were in front of where we were stood. When that away area was still cavernous concrete under the stand above, the 200-300 away fans could produce a proper noise, and we did as the second and third goals went in! I’d love to see the goals from that game again.

Full match playlist for Wolves at home December 1994.

Well worth watching right through this. Southbank in full voice throughout with many chants you don't here often these days!

Scott Taylor kicking lumps out of them, got 2 players subbed by half time!

Thank you so much for posting this, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the whole match.

A few thoughts....

What fantastic entertainment compared to the sterile rubbish we have endured since Stam. Didn't we have a cracking side.

On days like those, Elm Park was a brilliant place to be, even if you were ankle deep in water at the back of the South Bank.

I didn't realise quite how many long balls we played. RTG's I suppose, but I always thought that team got the ball down.

Football has evolved into almost a non contact sport these days. That said, Scott Taylor should have walked. I remember thinking that at the time as it was right in front of me. Almost finished Froggatt's career, I think.

Some disgusting chanting from the Wolves fans towards Shaka during that.

Little wonder Adie Williams went off injured. A clear elbow to his head which resulted in a Tranmere free-kick  and then a shocking lunge at him. Tranmere should have had a sending off long before the second half.

Tony Le Mesmer Got lots of snippets lined up from the 1992/93 season. An 8th place finish but for me the season that Reading really turned the corner, leading to an upswing that lasted 20 years. Rather painstaking trawling through VHS, but no better time to do this I guess! Watch this space.

Have been loving these uploads. Would be forever grateful if you dug out the goals from reading 1 Bradford 1 in 92/93 season (October) as that was my first ever home game live. Gilkes and Jewell scored... thanks!

6m 38s of Part 3 - Wolves Cavemen chanting 'You b**** bastard' at Shaka as he took a goal kick having just made a brilliant one on one save from Steve Bull moments earlier.

Younger viewers will be perplexed by non-Liverpool fans singing You'll Never Walk Alone.

It was a standard song for all teams once but, somehow, Liverpool took ownership of it.

We used to sing “ C’mon you Royals” when we got a corner. Rarely hear it now.

We used to think we had a decent chance of scoring from corners back then.
