Snowball The Gaffer has been in charge, now, for 40 Games and won half of them
Counting the Northampton game as a defeat
P40 W20 D9 L11 72-51 = "69 Points" = 1.725 ppg = 79 Point Season = 3rd 2009-10 season

PEARCEYbrendywendy you cannot deny that winning half of your first 40 games in proffesional management, with a team being rebuilt, and using alot of kids is great going.
stat hater or not
Its exceptional. He's done superbly.

Totally. I'm not sure what the point of points projections are, the Played, Won, Lost, Drawn, For and Against speaks for itself without further extrapolation.

Snowball A lot more amazing if you consider he started with two 1-1 draws and a 2-1 and 4-1 defeat
But then he got them playing

cmonurz A pointless illustration. You would not have removed his first 3 games had they not been poor results. They all counts, and his overall performance holds up without the need to artificially 'illustrate' his performance.

2 world wars, 1 world cup I think it can go both ways.
It's not unreasonable to remove the very first few results but to be fairer you should include all of course.
All pointless though, because in any case he's awesome.

cmonurz And as I said, you would not have chosen to remove an arbitrary number of games (why not three or five?) had Reading won them all.
