And the gloves are off...

by swansea jack » 27 May 2011 08:30

Offline after today so....

I hope you all have a great day out
I hope you all sink a few cheeky beers
I hope you all get there and back safely
I hope you all meet and chat to a great set of opposition fans
I hope you get decent stewards that will allow you to sing you hearts out whilst standing
I hope that your plastics become real fans and start regularly following the club
I hope that it's a classic game of footy with both sides going for it

But for 90 minutes (plus any added / ET):

I hope that our boyos tear you apart
I hope Little Britton dominates the game
I hope Tatey smashes Kebe
I hope Borini, Dyer and Sinclair run rings around your ageing defence
I hope your boys shudder when hearing our fans singing
I hope Long doesn't get a sniff of goal
I hope that a rich benefactor feels for your loss and buys into the club for next years promotion push
I hope BIG WATCH gets to smugly give Mr Mad and Nigel a cheeky wink after the game

Revised prediction is a 3-1 win for us with Dyer as MOM - he's going to destroy Harte.

Lots of love
SJ

Thanks

Dyer's really come of age lately. I remember when he was at Southampton and them coming to the Mad stad. Glen Little rang rings round him

TC - Dyer is definitely at the top of his game at the moment.

TB - don't think there'll be much productivity in the RG and SA postcodes on tues!

After past play off experiences, I have wisely decided to take Tuesday off. It will be a case of unrequited delerium or complete and total despair. For once I hope that it is the former

I hope everyone has a brilliant day on the piss. If someone could text me the score on Tuesday afternoon then that'd be grand.

I think I'll be marginally more likely to attend a London away game next season, but lets not get carried away Ferris.

The Swansea speculation that the incredible Nathan Dyer and co are going to tear Harte and Griffin to pieces is interesting. The Welsh media were full of Cardiff doing this too. In fact wehn we played Everton away BBC Berkshire had this worry. Lets face it a lot of us remember our defence chasing shadows against Swansea already this season.

But if Tevez, Silva, Saha, Arteta, Osman and Bellamy can't do it...

I'm backing experience over pace.

I see Brendan has said that the Premier League will be a better place if a Welsh club get there. Perhaps we ought to concede the game to you now out of a wish to improve the Premier League.
