Bournemouth, Wednesday, Bristol, Forest now on tv.

So, next 8 games:

30/10: Coventry (Sky)

04/11: PNE (iFollow)

07/11: Stoke (Sky)

21/11: Bournemouth (Sky)

25/11: Millwall (iFollow)

28/11: Bristol City (Sky)

02/12: Wednesday (Sky)

05/12: Forest (Sky)

QPR is right after that run so that'll probably be on sky as well. Lets hope that we improve our televised performances or this could be embarrassing.

Six of eight Reading games on sky?! Does this include red button? Must do :?

I've never had Sky sports, so please excuse the n00b question, but can you still iFollow if it's on Sky?

How many of these games are behind the red button as opposed to the normal sky channels?

No. If the game is live on Sky then, in the UK, you can only listen to the audio of the game on ifollow.

I know that, I`m asking how many are being screened as a main match rather than behind the red button?

Maybe.

Cov, Stoke are both Sky proper. vs Bournemouth is obviously not going to be hidden away on rb. Bristol & Forest are both weekend fixtures, which are only very very rarely red button fixtures. That leaves the Wednesday game, for which Watford v Forest is the only other 'big' game in the round.

If I was a betting man I'd guess that we're getting all 6 on proper sky, a whole season and a half worth of televised fixtures in a month and a bit. A very nice £330,000+ extra in tv money before the Jan window opens.

If the twitter poster is correct- all of them because it has been listed that Millwall away is on the red button.

You can buy a NowTV day pass for £9.99 if you want to stream it as it won't be on ifollow, should be better coverage unless you particularly like listening to Tim + Mick.

Snowflake Royal For those not too concerned with being frugal, worth noting the club will see far more money from purchasing a home game through IFollow.

And maybe, depending on away game numbers watching similar from away games.

And you don't have to give any money to those immoral pcunts at SKY.

Reading will make thousands from SKY for the live games chosen.

But it messes up the fan experience for us exiles living further up the country when only 20 fans turn up!

See the tweet at the top. One of the ITKs (who also broke news of Cov and Stoke being televised) is saying that those 4 have been selected.

the same account that said Ejaria pulled a sickie on Tuesday. I’ll wait for the official announcement thanks.

Lol, same.

Worth checking the ESPN+ schedules for the US. I'm pretty sure that they are showing (or at least have up until now) all of the live games screened by Sky (not red button games though). ESPN+ costs $7.99 per month.

Reading FC in announcing the change of start time for the Millwall away game to 7pm have said that the game is not on the red button service- only on ifollow. I thought SKY were showing all the midweek matches that are not on SKY TV on the red button. Obviously i’m wrong !!

Is there anyway to watch Ifollow on a TV? Can I use a firestick or is it just janky screen mirroring or using an hdmi from laptop?

Only thing putting me off shelling out the £10 a game is having to watch it on laptop/mobile.

HDMI cable is how I did it last year. Was just much easier.

I just use an HDMI and the quality is fine.

Re sky sports/now tv what did we decide is the final verdict?

A; if you have all sky sports through now TV can you access the red button channels?

B; are the PNE/Stoke games etc on sky sky?

I see now TV are doing a £25/month for 3 months offer which, if we’re on sky as much as reported, might make sense.

Yep, I haven't heard of anyone managing to come up with a better/alternative way. I use laptop & HDMI, our daughter uses an adaptor & HDMI from her MacBook.
