McAnuff
Tabb
Leigertwood
Manset
Le Fondre

Subs

Federici
Gorkss

Can't decide who I think will start between McCarthy and Andersen. McCarthy needs to feel he'll get games but Andersen also deserves a run out after being patient so far but it'll be one of them instead of Federici.

Back four should include Morrison and Mills and I'd personally favour Gorks over Pearce to play alongside Morrison.

Tabb and Robson-Kanu to start (unless BF's tip off is correct) with Obita getting a run out off the bench as McAnuff should also be playing. Legiertwood or Karacan alongside Tabb is an interesting one. Karacan should be the fresher of the two but Legiertwood gives us the physical presence I don't think we can do without. I can't see Gunnarsson of Howard being involved but stranger things have happened.

If Manset doesn't start upfront I'd be very surprised and it would raise question marks over how much McDermott rates him (assuming he's fit that is). I'd guess that Le Fondre would also start as he's probably the one in most need of a goal to get him off on a run of good form.

Stevenage are no mugs and a bit unpleasant with it. And presumably better than when we edged them last season with just a slighty under-strength team.

Without our strongest team we're in danger of losing this tie. I hope and expect BMD to take the Cup as seriously as he has in previous years.

Nope - have stated in the "ins and outs" thread who will leave m8 - Federici, Kebe, HRK and Griffin.

You heard it here first

I just really want Obita to play some part and for us to win. That is all.

Based on McDermott's previous FA Cup games in charge, it will be largely unchanged.

Agreed - after the poor performance yesterday I think we will play virtually the full first team to make sure they keep up to speed. Players are only likely to be rested if they ask to be I would think.

Play our strongest team please. Apart from maybe giving another 'keeper a chance.

The only changes i would make would be Manset starting, McCarthy starting and HRK on the wing - maybe Mills in at left back too.

My gues would be, assuming all fit and no one comes in or goes out in the time being:

McCarthy
Griffin
Mills
Morrison
Gorkss
HRK
McAnuff
Tabb
Leigertwood
Manset
Le Fondre

Federici, Harte, Karacan, Hunt, Church

I'd expect the captain to play and one of Gorkss or Pearce, fairly obviously. McCarthy and Andersen is a bit of a toss up. I'd also expect fringe players like Griff, HRK, Tabb, Morrison and Manset to play and it seems a good way to see how Mills is recovered from his injury. Maybe get ALF back in the goals again as well.

It's a blend of those in and around the first team, yet still a pretty competetive team, even for this level. Maybe see someone like Obita, Taylor or D'ath getting on the bench over one of Hunt or Church.
