Why is it irrelevant?

I was told something similar on Sat, from someone close to the club - but they actually suggested the Russians had been seeking a few changes to the takeover doc (not sure what they were) and the deal was potentially at risk

I heard Mr Mad wanted £15m MORE due to our current turnaround in form and the potential of Premier League football - TSI are refusing and so JM is thinking about pulling out and waiting for a higher bidder.

I can see it now at the Palace game as we're celebrating promotion ...

Branson in the centre circle surrounded by a load of fit birds in red outfits.

....... And no Samuelson in sight.

As far as SJM is concerned, job done.

I know some others are, but I am not actually joking in hearing that through a good source. 100% believe it is true (due to source) but hope the issues are resolved.

Seems to me this "source" has his own agenda if he's telling all and sundry in the pub before a match.

I heard it all went arwy when SJM refused to wear a hankerchief in his suit pocket, much to the dismay of an enraged Samuelson. He reported it to Mr. Zing and, well, I think the deal is as good as off frankly.

there is nothing in that whatsoever. you're either on a wind-up or you are very easily mislead. in any case, sjm retains 49% ownership, and that 49% will be worth a great deal more in the premier league if we are there when he decides to sell his remaining shares - which is thought to be in two to three years time, once he has overseen a full handover and is confident tsi are doing right by the club.

Why are so many getting wound up about this? Everyone knows how SJM does things. Keeps everything under wraps until there is something to be said. Considering the amount of time that has passed since the initial announcements and now, if SJM had any reservations then the deal would have been called off. FL's reference to SJM's 49% stake is a huge factor in all of this. I have never liked the way SJM has gone about things but I won't question his integrity. Keep calm everyone.
