I would rather we finished top two or 7th and I genuinely mean that. This club never wins play-offs and im sick and tired of being let down whatever the scenario is in them. We could be the form team going in there, the team that finished 3rd and should have got top two or we could be a solid play-off team the whole way through and the end result is still the same....we get mugged and provide a good day out for the opposing fans to release on DVD. No thank you, sick of feeding other clubs fans good memories, would rather finish 7th.

I'd prefer 1st or 2nd obviously. But far rather be in the play offs than 7th or below. Even if we lose the play offs again. Gotta be in em to win em.

whats wrong with you

football is all about the drama, and the euphoric ups and savage downs.its the rollercoatser of emotions that makes it so oxf*rd great
if it goes wrong, embrace the misery, you will possibly not feel emotion like it for years.

imo winning a play off>>>>>>>>>losing a playoff>>>>>>>>>not being good enough to make the playoffs

A friend of mine feels your pain. He has basically given me power of attorney not to let him go to the play-offs ever again. I mustn't get him tickets or encourage him in any way. He saw Bolton, Walsall, Swansea ( and missed Simod  due to a very very new-born).

Silver Fox West Ham are the class act in this division but, even without a ream of snowstats, they surely can't sustain their form if they keep getting players sent off
Southampton surely flatter to decieve
Time seems to be catching up with Brum
While the Royals just kep rolling on, unnoticed by anyone (including many of our fans)

Top 1 or nothing!

Not sure about your west ham comment.
They have a large team, and generally hoof it upfield for their big forwards.
My mate is a season ticket holder, and he's always moaning about their style of play.
Birmingham are the best side in the division.
If we gel quickly, 2nd is very achievable, but it's a lot closer this year than any of the previous few. Anyone in the top 8 can still get automatic!

TBM I would rather finish 7th this year than make the final and lose again........

Not me. Much as losing at Wembley is horrible, it's nice to get ther, have the day out etc.

(and we MIGHT win...)

We don't win them though, everyone gets their hopes up and the team no matter which Reading team it is always let us down. 0/5 lol thats horrendous. No thank, 7th or top two please.

On the "I'd rather finish 7th than in the playoffs" comments, one day we're going to get it right in the playoffs and I want to be there so I'll keep going until we win a playoff final or I die, whichever comes first

Gordons Cumming If we get to Wembley again, I'm not going.

Not going for a hat-trick of Wembley disappointments.

+1 Gord

Just the thought sends me in to a deep depression..... Never again

The entire summer ruined.

Who the phuck wouldn't want another cracking day out in the play-offs :?:

If we lose again, move on and have another season in a division I like anyway. Sorted

We're certainly not going to win them from 7th.

Do it enough times and our day will come. It's not like we're going to end up with a record of 0/100

Quite a few Reading fans I know said they wouldn't go to a play-off final again should Reading get there. Is that the case with some of you as well?

But is that only because we'll have bought that success?

I think I may have said this at some point. But it's complete bullshit.
