Jay Tabb wasn't good enough at Championship level, let alone in the top-flight :!:

not impressed with BM's choice.

Tabb!!!?? would of thought he would have tried guthrie and karacan together to see if they can create more than the ledge guthrie partnership. Can't see us scoring today with hunt upfront but I hope to be proved completely wrong.

What a line-up!

Tabb

Remember Brian knows best.

The outcome of this in midfield should be "interesting"

Fantastic clue for our chances against a good Newcastle side capable of putting 5 past us on Saturday.

Why the put down of Tabb? He's good! He hasn't played enough due to the performances of Karacan and Leigertwood.

BTW, who's the ref for tonight?

What is wrong with you miserable bastards?
Tabb's always worked his arse off in midfield, and a manager's got to keep the squad happy. Also, those left out might be nursing knocks we don't know about, why risk them ahead of the weekend.

Come on reading!

Surprised at Gorkss > Pearce and at HRK > McNuff, but good that Mariappa is in, as he needs game time, and at Cummings getting a run too. How come Church made the bench?

Yes, and I can hear the naysayers saying that it was a friendly against some minor Irish league team.

Christ, when are we going to move away from the mentality that if someone works really hard they're good a player. Any footballer can work hard but few have quality and a good work ethic. I have never seen anything from tabb to suggest he has the attributes to play at a decent level and the only reason he's still here is because BM thinks he's a nice guy to have around and will do the most basic job when we're desperate.

Only the League Cup  etc etc.

Also, how come there haven't been more posts about the return of the Messiah? The Great Kébé has come to save us from relegation and win us the cup.

Even if we do win tonight, do you expect this team to play against Newcastle? I definitely don't.

Whatever happens is irrelevant.
