Thought you'd recognize yourself.

I'm not saying I'm a better fan than you. I just wish you were a fan of someone else.

by the time we've lost the next 3 games (which we will), that'll be 1 win in 18 games

18 f***in games !!

1 win in over half a season

even in my worst nightmares did i think we'd be this bad ths season

he was not backed in the transfer market (5 mill does not count in my book), but the players he did buy, he's not f****in playing

i mean, what was the point in going to dubai to persuade guthrie to come here, if you not going to play him ?

all this bollocks about him needing to integrate with the way we play, surely brian knew what kind of player he was b4 he bought him ?

sorry brian, its been clear for ages that whatever you are doing is not working, and as much as it pains me to say, i think the club needs a change.

don't ask me who though.

I love Brian to pieces and I don't want him to go but I'm not sure how much more of this dross I can put up with.

Yeah - I kind of wish that someone who uses the term "Mong" as an insult supported a different team to me too.

andrew1957 Southampton were absolutely dire and we were far worse than them today.

Nice to see we learned from the Villa disgrace

No, punish him for so badly underperforming this season. He did have money (no one knows how much) but one thing is clear, he p8ssed away what money he did have.

Not about the money or signings to me. It's the fact that he sits / stands in his dug out and takes no action when it is absolutely clear as day that we're steadily conceeding the initiative, coming under more and more pressure and about to conceed.

It's his job to have a workable game plan. And he doesn't. It's his job to fix it if it ain't working, and he's failing miserably. His style of football was borderline good enough to get promotion from the Championship and it was only really having some of the best players and Roberts, who's clearly too good for that level but not good enough at this without a prolific partner. It was clear it wasn't going to be good enough this season. He half heartedly tried to change it, then completely went back on that very early and is now largely playing a 5th - 10th Championship team in the PL.

In terms of squad strength I think we were about the 10th best team in the Championship last season and we still won it. The players out perfomed but now something seems to have gone very wrong.

Somebody somewhere once said that doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results was the epitome of stupidity. On that basis alone, we seem to be a stupid football club at the moment. Why keep playing the same team that cannot win? Why would they suddenly become good? We have options...not many, and possibly not good options, but we do have them.

The players must be held responsible for a lot of this. They collectively played their arses off for a glamour game against Man U, but come the day to day matches against everyone else, they revert back to the same idiots. That's what annoys me most of all. Where was the same effort, commitment, passion and ability that was on display last weekend? Lack of desire, leadership or inspiration. Something needs to change, and normally, it's the bloke in the dugout.

If you have wingers they have to take players on and put defenders on the back foot not drift aimlessly inside and deliver sod all crosses

McAnuff cannot play centrally in a 442

Rodgers went after trying to change the style of playing radically and not being given a chance, Brian has now had his chance and he hasn't even had the change in style to use as an excuse

If you read this whole thread, people were abusing McDermott from half-time onwards for not bringing on Guthrie (or unspecified other subs).

Here's the thing - if you're 0-0 at half-time away to a rival who have been restricted to half-chances and you've hit the woodwork just before the interval, and none of your players have a yellow card, WHY THE HELL WOULD HE SUB SOMEONE AT HALF-TIME?

No manager would do that, so a stream of posters on here calling him a pcunt, a bald twat, a useless oxf*rd etc just defy belief. It's 48 mins into a 0-0 game and you're all baying for his head ffs. And the person you want brought on as a saviour is Danny Guthrie who's been out injured for cock knows how long. Really?

Oh apart from whoever say "Samuel would be better than Le Fondre in a game like this". What, you mean an actual professional game of league football? yeah of course, would be amazed if he didn't score a hat-trick

Amazing how the answer always lies with whoever isn't on the pitch, isn't it?

Umm, in the Premier League, where you need more than one tactic and to be able to use your squad, yes?

You need to use your squad in every league and in every league we've been in people always think the solution is on the bench.

"Why isn't HRK playing? Kebe is rubbish, get him out"
*HRK comes in and has a bad game*
*Why is he playing HRK? McCleary has way more skill"

Rinse and repeat for an entire fcking season. For eternity actually. Dominic Samuel is now the saviour? Fack me.
