I don't bloody blame him. Unless he has recently eaten one of McD's kids, there is NO reason why he shouldn't be given a go. If McD plays him, tells him here is his chance to impress blah blah and he fcks it up, then if McD drops him in future, you wouldn't hear a peep of dissention from me.
