Who is more nailed on - Mariappa or Pearce

Hi!

Not going to hide the fact I am trying to find information for my fantasy football team

I have a choice of Mariappa or Pearce, they both cost the same.

Who is more nailed on? I see Mariappa had clearly had the most game time, even when the defence was being shuffled about. Is he the better choice in terms of game time? What happens when Morrison returns? The other option is harte, but i feel shorey will get his place back soon

He was our POTS last year, this year his contract ran out, he wanted more money and McDermott decided to drop him. He came back into the side because of injury, but has kept his place despite Morrison being fit again now.

His contract is almost sorted now so I expect him to keep his place.

Pearce. Our defence falls apart when he's not there. He's also much more likely to score than Maps. Not that I'd have recommended getting one of our defenders before Xmas.

Its a tough choice thats for sure

i would go with Pearce as hes a real threat upfront from set pieces too

Pearce is better, but Mariappa is very good.

Gorkss was the big problem earlier in the season, with Morrison responsible to an extent (though he also did some superhero defending that pretty much made up for the mistakes), as well as the right backs and the lack of protection from midfield.
